Hello everyone!
I just wanted to give yall an update on my latest competition. For those of you who don’t know, I started competing in the NPC Figure (a division of bodybuilding) last March. In my first competition I came away with 2nd place which also gave me National Qualification. My second competition I went to Dallas to compete in the biggest amateur show in Texas and made it into the top five!! That was a huge honor and success!
(Now, back to the present…) June 18th, 19th & 20th I flew out to Chicago, IL to compete in my first ever National show. It was a crazy weekend. The show was 2 days long. Pre-judging on Friday and then finals on Saturday night. I was very nervous and there by myself, so I had to really be strong and hold myself together! lol. With it being only my third time on stage, I got really nervous as soon as I stepped on stage and it showed in my posing. It was like i was moving in slow motion, but i was actually zipping through everything waaaaay too fast! However, dispite my nervousness and a few boggles in my 5 inch high-heels, I still came away with a Top Ten finish!! It was a HUGE success for my National Debut and I couldn’t be happier! The judges said that my back and side poses were great, I had exceptional lines and my overall conditioning and look won them over. The areas I need improvement are: more overall muscle, more leg size, a suit that better flatters my long torso, and to work on my model and front posing.
It has been a long road getting to this show with strict eating and super intense and consistent workouts, but now that almost a week has gone by and I’ve hit a few fast food joints and ice-cream shops…I am definitely ready to get back on track! I really do feel so much better when I eat clean and have some regular activity in my life. The most important things I have learned to hold on to in living a healthy/ active lifestyle are commitment, consistence, and passion. If you can find those three things inside of yourself- you will be unstoppable!!!
Next week I will be starting an off-season diet and workout plan that I will follow from July through mid September. Then mid September I will start my competition diet and follow that for 10 weeks until my next National show which will be November 21st & 22nd in Ft. Lauderdale Florida. Woo-hoo!! I’m already getting excited!!
But, before I get all crazy excited about my next competition, there are a few people I MUST thank because with out them there is NO WAY I would have made it to the stage in Chicago.
—Thank you so much for your support, encouragement, and gifts to help me reach my goals and make my dreams come true. You are truly a blessing in my life and I will be forever grateful, honored and humbled by your generosity!!

The Radiant Lilly
Sponsored my stage make-up. Bare Escentuals is the ONLY make-up I will ever wear again!! It is perfect for every day wear, it is light, fresh, all natural and is all powders so it never cakes on your face! Also, I wear this on stage and for all of my modeling and photo shoots for a flaw-less air brushed looking face!
BIG TIME SPONSORS
Complete Nutrition
Sponsored the entire cost of my competition suit!!! (Which was VERY pricey.) With out this, I wouldn’t have looked or felt near as beautiful on stage. The suit is a MAJOR portion of the judging and not having to worry about coming up with all that extra money for my suit was the biggest burden EVER lifted off my shoulders! THANK YOU THANK YOU COMPLETE NUTRITION!!!! David Kinsel ,the store manager, made this happen and I was SO thrilled!!!!
Optimum Nutrition & American Bodybuilding
Sponsored my 3 night hotel stay, food, and supplements, on going support, photo shoot, video shoot, and more. This is the company that signed me on their team right after my first show. They have been such a great company to work with and I feel like the luckiest girl in the world to be apart of their team! They have flown me all over the U.S already and there is still more to come!!
They have taken me under their wings and I cannot imagine where I’d be without them.
My Hubby: Logan Rankin
Without his willingness to let me do this, I would have never stepped on stage. He gives me the freedom to dream big and the support to keep the dream alive. Thanks babe!! I love you!!
Family & Friends
Thanks to my famililes(The Brigman’s and my in-law’s The Rankin’s)

But it doesn’t matter, that’s what friends are for! So thank you from the bottom of my heart!!! I love yall so much and am so blessed by each and every one of you!!
