Well I’ve been in Italy for about a month so far and training has been going decently well. I have been running and walking a lot which has helped my cardiovascular health. Other than that, I have been using resistance bands a good deal, and doing pushups/pullups/abs. My overall strength has seemed to go up, while I think I have lost some weight, but I can’t be sure of the weight because I don’t have a scale (balls!). Oh well, more later….peace

Ok so today I am off to Italy for the next 4 months to study abroad. I am unsure of my ability to train during this time (however i have brought along resistance bands for this purpose just in case) and unsure of my ability to access a computer though I don’t think this will be a problem. If anyone has any tips on continuing training on a limited budget in a foreign country, let me know. Other than that, not much new to report. I think I am doing pretty well on my training, though I think my bf % may be less than what I have it listed/measured as. I dunno…ok well thats it for this time

Well its been a month since my last post…and I would like to talk about my activities over the past month. I haven’t been training as hard as I would like to. I’m heading to Italy for 4 months and have been trying to figure out a training schedule that will work over there. I have bought resistance bands from www.jumpstretch.com and plan to use those for most of my workouts. For those of you that may be skeptical about their effectiveness, I think they may make do. They have some incredible amounts of resistance and resistance training is supposed to be very good for strength. I have been experimenting with them and after taking some getting used to, they seem to be a good workout. Anyone else wih some experience in these matters?

so ive decided to take advantage of this progress picture thing to keep track of how much progress i’m making (haha go figure). Anyway I figure it might help me achieve my goals if i have something visual to keep track with. Therefore I have decided to take a new picture every month to keep track. 25th of every month (unless i come up with a better day) expect a new progress pic.

so I spent the last week at lake george camping. While there I neglected my diet and ate quite a bit. However, I am still the same weight, so I must have been active enough to burn off those extra calories….SWEET! I have gotten a decent tan and it shows off more of the muscle I have been trying to build (pictures to follow soon). I am pleased with the results I have been seeing and am glad to finally see the abs I have been working on.
Thats it for now….

alright ladies and gentlemen…here it is another version of me rambling for a bit on this bodyblog thing.
ok, so I am at home for the summer, and don’t have a gym. All i have is 50lbs worth of dumbbells, some resistance bands and my bodyweight. So i been doing a ton of pushups, curls, and some other stuff and i seem to be keeping in shape (I think) and ive been steadily losing weight since i got back from school (175lbs this morning vs 184 just before i left college) while retaining my strength as far as I can tell. I wish I had a pullup bar though, though i have a tree with a limb that overhangs out in the backyard that I have been using…..haha sweet right?
I would also like to point out that the people on this site rock….keep up the encouragement and the kind words to each other….it makes a world of difference

ok so I’m a 20y/o college student hoping to lose body fat and gain muscle mass (like everyone else I suppose). Why am I on this site? Not sure, but it seems like a good place to compare notes and that sorta thing. Anyway…I’m out.
