Last Tuesday (September 5) saw the start of my 06-07 dance program. My schedule so far looks like this:
- Tuesdays - Ballet 6-7
- Wednesdays - Tap 6:15-7:15
This week however had some additions. My regular ballet instructor was subbing for an additional class, so I sat in on that one. It added up to 2.5 hours of dance that night. I was definetly feeling it the next morning. But it was a good sort of pain. It let me know I was actually pushing myself. I may have to make that other class a regular part of my routine.
Tap was great as always (I still can’t do pullbacks or wings, but I still insist that they defy the very laws of gravity so I’m not too concerned about that).
I’m also thinking about adding the Thursday night jazz class. Tonight won’t work, but after that it might be a nice balance to the rigid formality of all that ballet (Not sure when I’m going to work on Brawn’s Gym! but I’m sure I’ll find a few minutes somewhere to squeeze it in).
