Exhausted

So, I went to the doctor earlier this week to the surprise of my trainer (I guess he’s more used to seeing people focusing solely on getting better them selves than trusting a professional)  He was happy I went.  I had a number of things I had to do and felt like I was at a more than routine check up.  I had to have orthotics replaced (for those that don’t know they are placed in your shoes when there is an arch problem, mine effects my hips) which is something I should’ve handled a few years ago.  but the main thing I’m dealing with is, I’m not sleeping well.  I get to bed and don’t try to stay up late but I only sleep for roughly 2 hours at a time and it sucks.  I don’t know what it is.  So, the doctor put me on melatonin.  I just got the stuff in the mail today and I’m hoping it works because I’m not only feeling like I’m at a plateau I feel like I’m getting weaker.  I lift more, I eat more, I take my supps.  Nothing is working.  If anyone has any sleep solutions let me know.  I don’t know if I’m stressed or what, I know graduation is approaching but I know I’m going to be fine in that regard.  But if anyone knows of any other ideas I want to nip this as quickly as I can.

    I don’t have a solution, but I can offer up one thing…
I have dealt w/sleep issues for many years and I found that you CAN NOT let yourself get frustrated that you can’t sleep, that will only make you more awake.
I don’t know if you ARE getting frustrated, but don’t let that emotion take hold of you when you are already struggling.
    Best to you!
