			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><font size="3"><font face="Times New Roman">First, I would like to say thanks to everyone who visits my site and takes the time to read my blog and review all the pictures; I do appreciate all the wonderful feedback and comments “THANK YOU”.  </font></font></p>
<p><font face="Times New Roman" size="3"> </font></p>
<p><font face="Times New Roman" size="3">I have met a lot of great people who have the same passion and interest as myself, which makes Bodyspace a fun place to stay motivated and pushing towards my overall goal. </font></p>
<p><font face="Times New Roman" size="3"> </font></p>
<p><font size="3"><font face="Times New Roman">Speaking of my goal, I officially am down to less than a week to go for Master’s National’s.  As I am sitting here typing my blog entry a thousand things are going though my mind, all of which will find their place and time to be completed this week.  </font></font></p>
<p><font face="Times New Roman" size="3"> </font></p>
<p><font size="3"><font face="Times New Roman">The first things are will I be full enough, but at the same time be tight enough for the show.  I had a photo shoot yesterday, which lasted a lot longer than I was planning.  I always have my food and water with me, but the timing was off from my normal daily schedule.  So today I am looking at myself, worried that I am too flat, maybe I was dehydrated shooting in the sun most of the day, or I just continue to over analyze everything&#8230;  </font></font></p>
<p><font face="Times New Roman" size="3"> </font></p>
<p><font face="Times New Roman" size="3">I talked to my coach Friday and she gave me my last weeks preparations for the show concerning diet and water, so now I need to make sure everything is perfect.</font></p>
<p><font face="Times New Roman" size="3"> </font></p>
<p><font face="Times New Roman" size="3">As far as the workouts the rest of the week, today I do legs and cardio, Monday is cardio and abs, Tuesday is all upper body and cardio, and after that I put the feet up and cross my fingers LOL&#8230;</font></p>
<p><font face="Times New Roman" size="3"> </font></p>
<p><font size="3"><font face="Times New Roman">We are leaving on Wednesday to make it out to Pittsburgh in order to spend some time with my family, they are going to be so happy to see my daughter.  With all this down time from not having to workout I should be able to post a blog before the show and I hope to have some pictures as well before and after the show..  Please check back and keep your fingers crossed for me as well&#8230;  </font></font>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><font size="3"><font face="Times New Roman">Well, first I’d like to say “<strong>THANK YOU</strong>” for all those who provided their input and supplied their killer leg workout routines, I will be in contact with the individuals who won and send their gifts..…. I must say that I received many fantastic exercises, and ones that I haven’t tried or heard of, which is the real goal in order to develop my legs to the next level.  Today is leg day and I can not wait to try a new routine both as a change up and to hopefully shock them into a new era of growth….<br />
</font></font><font size="3"><font face="Times New Roman">Beyond my leg workouts, I am now less than 3 weeks from Masters…. Yes the anticipation is building, the diet will become more stringent, the cardio (I am guessing) will increase…  All those who compete know the routine and realize the mental aspects that begin to surface as the body gears itself to achieve perfection the day of the show….  Its timing and realizing that the mind must be as strong as the body in order to be successful… Further, the aspects outside of training, such as knowing the suit will fit perfect, hotel accommodations, travel arrangements, etc all add to the complexity during the final few weeks…. The support and friends I have gained here at BB.com truly have been great in all aspects of this preparation and I sincerely appreciate the support from everyone… Further I’d like to give special thanks to my coach, Nancy Georges&#8230;  she is an amazing person, as well as an awesome coach and friend&#8230; without her dedication and knowledge I would not be as far as I am today&#8230; She truly is an inspiration and my mentor&#8230;  and to Jackie who kicked my butt at the gym, and also a great trainer and friend…<br />
</font></font><font size="3"><font face="Times New Roman">Amongst other things, I have a photo shoot scheduled this month, the website is still in development, and of course I’ll keep the blog and routine postings interesting!!!!  Enjoy your week and again thanks for the support……<br />

<p><font face="Times New Roman" size="3">This week I am trying something  different, plus it’s a win win for everyone … I am completely frustrated with my legs at this point, and Master’s is less then 4 weeks away&#8230;  I know I will not be able to change them that fast, nor do I expect too.  However, I have a good 5 weeks before my final show of the season, and then it’s off season, yippy.</font></p>
<p><font face="Times New Roman" size="3">So, I thought it would be pretty cool to get some much needed feedback from my  new friends here on body space&#8230;   plus, I will have gifts for the top 3 exercises that I pick to try out  ..</font></p>
<p><font face="Times New Roman" size="3">I know you are anticipating and waiting to find out how this is  all going to work (or would that just be the gifts)&#8230; either way, this is going to be fun&#8230;</font></p>
<p><font face="Times New Roman" size="3">Guess I will start with the leg workout  that I am  looking  for:  Basically,  I am looking for a killer move for legs, something that will break down the fibers and really make me not be able to walk or move for days, ok maybe not that intense, but something needs to change.  </font></p>
<p><font face="Times New Roman" size="3">The top three who submit a cool exercise that could help me out will receive a gift from me.  The exercise I am most interested in would be for the quads. <p><font face="Times New Roman" size="3">Trying to do some different things to get the legs to respond more.  The theme for the spin class was sprints and hills and of course this is not known until your are set up on the bike and the instructor looks out over the class with the devilish smile and in a very calm voice relays the pain that is forthcoming&#8230; </font></p>
<p><font face="Times New Roman" size="3"> </font></p>
<p><font face="Times New Roman" size="3">The class was 45 minutes long and I really had a great time.  I could feel the quads burning when we were doing the sprint intervals, which is what I need to get my legs to grow&#8230;</font></p>

<p><font face="Times New Roman" size="3">Speaking of tomorrow, it is one of my favorite days at the gym&#8212; back day, I love working the back, and not only the lifting part but some of the exercise, such as the seated row gives the back such a good stretch&#8230;  I want to concentrate on the V taper, as well as my lats in order to try and bring them out just a bit more before the show&#8230; </font></p>

<p><font face="Times New Roman" size="3">Squats</font></p>
<p><font face="Times New Roman" size="3">Dead lifts </font></p>
<p><font face="Times New Roman" size="3">Leg extensions </font></p>
<p><font face="Times New Roman" size="3">Hamstring curls </font></p>
<p><font face="Times New Roman" size="3">Butt and glut machine</font></p>
<p><font face="Times New Roman" size="3">Deep squats with free weight </font></p>
<p><font face="Times New Roman" size="3"> </font></p>
<p><font face="Times New Roman" size="3">Then finished off the day with sit ups.  I do not mind doing legs and actually today turned out to be a great workout&#8230;  I really want to get my legs just a little bit bigger&#8230; </font>

<p><font size="3"><font face="Times New Roman">Since I did not train today as I had hoped for, my husband and I of course did not waste the day and did some much needed pictures to update my body space.  Also we hope to use some for my “work in progress” web site, which should be done close to National’s.  </font></font></p>

		<description><![CDATA[Getting ready for Master’s National’s.  I will be 5 weeks out this coming Saturday (June16th).  I am very excited to reach the National level for my next show.  

Feeling really good right now, energy level is high,  and  just keeping  my goal in front  of me,,,,,  to turn pro..
