First, I would like to say thanks to everyone who visits my site and takes the time to read my blog and review all the pictures; I do appreciate all the wonderful feedback and comments “THANK YOU”. 

 

I have met a lot of great people who have the same passion and interest as myself, which makes Bodyspace a fun place to stay motivated and pushing towards my overall goal.

 

Speaking of my goal, I officially am down to less than a week to go for Master’s National’s.  As I am sitting here typing my blog entry a thousand things are going though my mind, all of which will find their place and time to be completed this week. 

 

The first things are will I be full enough, but at the same time be tight enough for the show.  I had a photo shoot yesterday, which lasted a lot longer than I was planning.  I always have my food and water with me, but the timing was off from my normal daily schedule.  So today I am looking at myself, worried that I am too flat, maybe I was dehydrated shooting in the sun most of the day, or I just continue to over analyze everything… 

 

I talked to my coach Friday and she gave me my last weeks preparations for the show concerning diet and water, so now I need to make sure everything is perfect.

 

As far as the workouts the rest of the week, today I do legs and cardio, Monday is cardio and abs, Tuesday is all upper body and cardio, and after that I put the feet up and cross my fingers LOL…

 

We are leaving on Wednesday to make it out to Pittsburgh in order to spend some time with my family, they are going to be so happy to see my daughter.  With all this down time from not having to workout I should be able to post a blog before the show and I hope to have some pictures as well before and after the show..  Please check back and keep your fingers crossed for me as well…

Well, first I’d like to say “THANK YOU” for all those who provided their input and supplied their killer leg workout routines, I will be in contact with the individuals who won and send their gifts..…. I must say that I received many fantastic exercises, and ones that I haven’t tried or heard of, which is the real goal in order to develop my legs to the next level.  Today is leg day and I can not wait to try a new routine both as a change up and to hopefully shock them into a new era of growth….
Beyond my leg workouts, I am now less than 3 weeks from Masters…. Yes the anticipation is building, the diet will become more stringent, the cardio (I am guessing) will increase…  All those who compete know the routine and realize the mental aspects that begin to surface as the body gears itself to achieve perfection the day of the show….  Its timing and realizing that the mind must be as strong as the body in order to be successful… Further, the aspects outside of training, such as knowing the suit will fit perfect, hotel accommodations, travel arrangements, etc all add to the complexity during the final few weeks…. The support and friends I have gained here at BB.com truly have been great in all aspects of this preparation and I sincerely appreciate the support from everyone… Further I’d like to give special thanks to my coach, Nancy Georges…  she is an amazing person, as well as an awesome coach and friend… without her dedication and knowledge I would not be as far as I am today… She truly is an inspiration and my mentor…  and to Jackie who kicked my butt at the gym, and also a great trainer and friend…
Amongst other things, I have a photo shoot scheduled this month, the website is still in development, and of course I’ll keep the blog and routine postings interesting!!!!  Enjoy your week and again thanks for the support……
