Leg Day:
Ok, so I’m trying to stay heavy with the weights and being 5 weeks out from Master’s is a tough combination.
I like doing legs on Sunday, hardly anyone is at the gym, and plus I do progress and posing pictures for my coach every week, which works out good for sore legs (ouch).. Maybe I should start doing the pictures before the workout…
Still would have enjoyed meeting Sean ( the leg guy) and having a chance to do a different routine for legs, but hopefully we can get together this coming weekend…
Leg routine for today was as follows:
Lunges around the track at gym
Leg press, feet high and wide
Squats
Dead lifts
Leg extensions
Hamstring curls
Butt and glut machine
Deep squats with free weight
Then finished off the day with sit ups. I do not mind doing legs and actually today turned out to be a great workout… I really want to get my legs just a little bit bigger…

I have heard that photos of legs in general and calves in specific should always be done before pumping up….in order to show more definition….Thoughts?

The only thing that I have heard about the legs is not to train them a few days before the show and do not pump them up either for the day of the show. Guessing this is the same concept as the photos, in that the legs appear harder and more defined with rest…

nice way to get big on the legs. lunges around the track is one way. try horse stances
