What does Personal training mean to you?By definition,Personal training would be described as an establishment of an asigned or attained client’s fitness goals and its determined direction to hit goal.Thats obviously significant and justified but to me it’s too “mechanical”.Without getting negative about the subject,as there are a lot of bad apples out there, its best we focus on some positive things.
What personal training means to ME is defined in one word….”Relationship”.
I feel it is compared to a marriage.A unity of Trust, faith and loyalty. To engage in an agreement to conquer many goals, working through good and bad.To be their to listen and help the other through challenging times. To enthusiastically join the other during those amazing moments of accomplishment and show great pride in their journey. Its a bond and a sacrifice to share.
When I get a new client(victim:),I tell them I am now family and will be there for them 24 hours a day.If they need me,I will be there, regardless. For the time they invest,I will give my very utmost and will not ever quit on them.
There is obviously more involved pertaining to workouts and Nutrition as they are the fundementals of reaching a determined goal but to me…Personal training is phycological. The very foundation of it all is Love.A love for the ones you are responsible for and great Love for what you do.
Now that’s fullfillment!
