I started my pushup workout. There I am with my feet on the chair, the perfect pushups in my hands, I get to number 13, and here comes the dog.
She’s right in my face. these pushups are hard enough without bobbing your head. So at 19, I let her have it.
bitch didn’t care one bit. she tried to kiss me. GET OUT OF HERE!!!

I know it’s around here somewhere. Let’s see, I was making up Easter baskets, and I put them out. Then I did a pushup workout. then I made the 14 year old go to sleep - I only had to tell him 5 times.
Now I am on the computer, bb.coming, and facebooking and tbd-ing, and looking for a romantic location in Bloomfield Hills for a coffee date, where they will also let a guitar player in for a few minutes. Or a place to get coffee and a glass of fine wine. hmmm…. there is such a place, but…. she doesn’t like Italian food. this is very complicated.
Ok, using Goggle Earth, I think I can do this. I will have to use two places. Starbucks (coffee for people who don’t know what coffee is supposed to taste like), and my cousin’s bar up the street.
Now, to decide how this will work. I think the bar first and the coffee for a night cap. Or the other way around. does anyone out there remember how to date? Hell, I wasn’t good at it when I was 20, I am lost at 41. I need to make some phone calls…

How much processing is too much? i don’t mind pasteurized milk, on the whole it is a good thing. Ture it does get rid of some enzymes that are important, but I am Italian and I eat enough cheese to pick those up. I am not a fan of juice concetrates. I know it is the same, just dehydrated for transport and rehydrated locally for sale. It just seems that I should be able to get the juice without any funny stuff. Don’t get me started on the OJ pulp. There’s, no pulp (only good for vodka), some pulp (what?) and high pulp. what about regular pulp - as in we squeezed the juice and put it in a jar. does anyone even know what real OJ looks and tastes like anymore? This whole shell game with the pulp, it’s like 3-card Monty.
Then there is the other end of the spectrum. HFCS. Yes, there are commericals telling us it is just sugar or honey. Really? There is one huge difference. It is estimated that each of us will have cancer in our bodies 10 times during our life time. Usually we will kill with our own body. Here is the secret, HFCS is pure cancer food. It is the one thing cancer craves, it is the ingredient that changes cancer from a passing ailment dealt with by your body without your knowing about it, to a deadly disease requiring chemotherapy or worse. How "the same" can it be? Cancer loves pure concentrated sugar. True, cancer can get that from white sugar too, but in the average food stuff, there is less white sugar than when you use HFCS.
What about white bread? They tell us the bleach is washed off of the wheat after the wheat turns white. OK. so let me get this straight, you dehydrate the grain, rehydrate - not with water, but with a deadly chemical - and then dehydrate again, all with no residue. Oh, and don’t let me forget, this process was invented using 1920’s technology - a far more advanced technology than our current 2000’s tech. I simply do not believe it!
How difficult would it be to just turn off the bleach switch and not do that part of the process. True, the bleach guy would lose his job, but I am ok with that. And why does it cost more to get unbleached flour. I would think firing the bleach guy, not having to maintain the bleaching machine, not buying the bleach, not paying the insurance costs of having a hazmat chem on site, not conducting bleaching quality testing, not waxhing the bleach out of the wheat, would all be cost savings that translate to the price of the procuct. But then again what do I know, I am just an economist.
Well, running long here, I could bring my laptop to the grocery store, but BB.com doesn’t have the servers to handle that long of a blog.

I left the big wirehouse to go on my own. That means I have to call all of my clients and ask them to become my clients at the new company. It is taking a lot of time to get through this phase. I didn’t realize that in 8 years I had done that much paperwork. wow.
My new business is operated out of the house. that makes things easy. I still do all the same work, with the same programs and the same client opportunities, but when the girls get on the bus, I take 3 steps to the right and I am at the office.
The hardest part is remembering to take a shower in the morning. I work in my PJs.
The boss (me) is cool, if I want to take personal calls or take a break and play here or on facebook or go do some pushups or take the dog for a short run or if I need to go pick up a sick kid, he’s ok with that. Of course, I am a great boss too, I command my employee (me) to relax and take time to stay sane, go do pushups, play online, take the dog for a run, take care of his kids. It’s really working out well.
I am hitting the weights and the perfect pushup and eating well, but I am still losing mass. It is really bothering me. I am trying to remember all the things I used to eat when bulking.
Boiled eggs
omelettes
peanut butter and jelly
protein shakes and protein bars
fish
shrimp
chicken
none of it is helping to maintain mass. and I am actually getting weaker instead of stronger. does anyone know if stress (from my last 5 months) overcomes doing all the right things? I have 2 months before I can start to relax from the stress.
