Situps like pushups
have you heard of the 600 pushups in one hour bit.
You start at the top of the minute. do 10 pushups, and then rest for the balance of the minute. when the next minute ticks over, you do ten more pushups. do this for one hour, and you’ve done 600 in one hour. your arms will be like jelly, but you did it.
well I attempted something similar with situps. I figured 25 situps per minute for 10 minutes. what I learned is that you definitely cannont shortcut the workout - at least if you are a beginner to it. I did 25 per minute for 5 minutes and then 20 in the next minute. I was done.
today I will try doing 15 per minute and see how long I can go.

Awesome idea man, I’ve not heard of this. It reminds me of the power hour they do with beer. This one you’ll feel the next morning too but in a good way.

i wonder if pullups and chin ups can be done similarly… though fewer reps, no doubt

You definately could use the timing thing for all sorts of exercises. Don’t know if you’ve seen crossfit.com but they sometimes do this. They’re big on pull ups too.
