might start using a trainer. Tom, is a former tennis pro. his co-workers have great respect for him, and the stuff he says makes sense. he also has a habit of watching form - wow, what a concept.

First leet me start with the mind blank that occurred when trying to spell volatile. I ended up going to Word typing in what thought it was, then highlight and hit shift+F7 (spellcheck) I have it correct now.
Anyway, I weigh myself every morning. Yes, I know what you are thinking, but we all do what have to, to keep ourselves committed to health. Don’t poo poo anyone else’s nutty methods.
So my weight has moved up and down recently in a 6 lb range. At first I thought it was just daily water intake levels, so I started watching more. Here is a list of things that can move you weight very quickly:
1. Water drink more for up and less for down
2. Salt
3. alcohol
4. white bread (especially pizza)
5. hambergers with cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, pickles (salt), ketchup (salt), mustard, and don’t forget the french fries (salt), and the Guiness Beer…..
Â
…… hmmmmm! Isn’t it lunch time? And I am at the bottom of the 6 lb range (174- 180)
Â
Talk at you later…

squats 1×5 at 135, 1×5 at 225, 1×2 at 305, 1×4 at 305 (last one equals a one rep max of 333)
Standing DB Arnold presses 1×10 at 35, 1×8 at 40, 1×4 at 45
Inclined DB flies 2×10 at 35
Seated row 1×10 at 100, 1×10 at 115, 2×10 at 130
that’s it.
next week is just arms and upper body, maybe go for a new max on the BB bench press
then the following week is test for max squat, and that starts our program for charity.

I had a little free time this morning so I used it to workout with the perfect pushup.
I did 2 sets to max.
Set 1:Â flat pushups = 31
Set 2: feet on bench (is this called inclined or declined pushups) = 24. This was cool, my arm muscles were twitching from number 12 through number 20. I am guessing that this is because the muscles are a bit weak. So I plan to do more of these.

deads 1×3 @ 135, 1×3 @ 225, 1×3 @ 305, 1×5 @ 305 - getting hard to get the bar off the ground = 1 rep max of 343 goal for end of May is 370 lbs

thursdays workout included hammer curls with 35 lb dbs. on the 3rd set, I almost felt the right bicep burn on the 4th rep, but then it backed off.Â
i wonder if you can ask the doc to check out the synaptics of right versus left. my right just doesn’t respond. if I try to flex my right arm, not much happens.  it flexes like my left used to back at 20 lb hammer curls. the left is all vasodialation and ripped muscles, the right, is like donald duck lifting a balloon.
so i almost felt a burn spasm this time. I did 2 more sets and it never came back. by then, the arm was no longer lifting, so 5 sets was it.Â
I know the arm is getting stronger, I keep going up in weight, I just have no control over the arm. may be the neuropathways need to build… that should happen if I keep lifting

Last night I did my shopping for supplies. I got the whey, the RTD’s, the Protein bars, the Cheerio’s, etc.
However, in the bread section, there were no whole wheat tortillas. What!?! I always have my peanut butter on whole wheat tortilla. No jelly, just peanut butter on whole wheat tortilla. Sam’s Club! They only buy if it’s cheap. It isn’t cheap because the wheat went up in price!Â
Wait, that doesn’t make any sense. They had plenty of wite tortillas. 2 talbes stacked as tall as possible. so wh no the whoel wheat? They are essentially the same except that one has bleach added to the flavor (that’s why I don’t want it- we have been assured that eating bleach is not bad for us, but I’m not too trusting of that assurance)
Besides, I would think that adding the bleach would make it cost more. I mean, not adding bleach would save money for the flour company wouldn’t it. Plus the white ones are fully ground, and the whole wheat are only partially ground.  So should the whole wheat be the norm and the white be the expensive option. I ‘m just sayin’ from the point of view of a Graduate of Michigan State University Business School, where we learned that inputs drive cost/price. Hence the reason that wiring for house are not made of gold. True it is a better conductor, but it is too expensive, so they use copper, it has higher resistance, but the price is right.
So now I am wondering, where do they make flour? I mean, can we stage a protest? Can we get 7 body builders with picket signs to march in a circle until they are dizzy and fall down? Can we call the news and tell them to film it and make it look like 700 body builders? (that’s how they do the war protests- if those nimrods can do it, I’m sure that an intelligent crowd like us can hadle it with stars)
Who’s with me? wherever that may be? probably not near here, so I probably won’t be there. so, um, make sure you do a good job! You are speaking for all of us when you protest wherever you protest these protestable things that get protested by protesting. and don’t forget the dramamine for the dizziness.
