Everytime I sneeze, I feel a terrible pain in my back.

TDetroit

This has been going on for over a week.  I couldn’t figure it out.

Then today, I went to Midas to get my brakes worked on.  I figured I would drop the car and walk to Lifetime, workout and come back when the car was done.  As I was walking past the garage, I walked in and asked to borrow a channel lock to repair my watch.  So I am fixing the watch and he asks what happened.  I told him I got thrown from a golf cart.

That’s when it hit me.  I hurt my back when I hit the ground.  My right arm was under me, and hit first, then crunched into my ribs and jarred across my back.  That’s why the left rhomboid hurts when I sneeze.

Good news, at the gym, I did a set of squats at 225.  Old max was 205.  Today I did 5 reps at 225, so my max is theoretically 253.  Next week, I’ll put 245 on the rack and try to do 2 reps to confirm.  I also did leg pressess for the first time.  Started low to get the feel for the machine.  Then did 1 set of 10 at 295.  It’s neat because it works the inner adductors.  I assume that if you reposition the feet, it works different muscles.

More later.
