We had a club meeting at 7 pm. Of course you get 10 Italians in a room to talk about stuff, and it becomes an event. So I couldn’t make it to the gym. But that was ok because I couldn’t make the calorie goal of 3400, I only made it to 2800. So I still gained a pound to 163.
I am getting extremely low readings on my calipers: 5 mm. Which would be a 9% BF. I am having trouble believing it. I might go to the gym at the end of the month to ask how much it would cost for another professional testing.

I didn’t put any weight on it because I just wanted her to learn form. When she released and unlocked her knees, she sank right down, and couldn’t come back up. What is the base weight on the hack squat? Anyway, it was clear she wasn’t going to be working out there. So I introed her walking squats (farmers walk?) and step up platform (12") with 10 lbs weight. That was yesterday, today she says she is sore all over and can’t take the stairs at work. Oh, this one is a long way off. Wish her luck.
As for me, I am up to 162 lbs. I had to eat pizza to get there. Lifting more than ever now. My upper body workout yesterday was way beyond anything ever before. 1 example: I did the pec fly machine 6 weeks ago at 60 lbs, 3×10, by then end, I had hurt my rotator. So I went down to 45 lbs. 2 weeks ago, I went to 45,45, 60. Last week I went to 45, 60,60. Yesterday was 3×10 at 60, and next week I will go to 60,60,75. It actually easy now, and I have to increase resistance.

I went out to eat with the in-laws. The restaurant of my spouses choosing was not cooperative with the eating clean theory. Therefore I had to make the best guess.
I chose the nachos with chicken. Best I could do. Entered into fitday afterward, it is bad. But I can bring it inline if I eat properly from here on out. Some Tilapia, 2 cups of shrimp, some carrots, pears, string beans and 2 cups of frosted mini wheats, and 1 EAS AdvantEdge Strawberry. Should come out pretty good.
I hope to keep the pound I gained, and start adding, but I want to do it clean.

Wooohoooo! After much eating, stuffing my face like a big fat pig. I have finally gained 1 (one, uno) pound. At this rate, I could hit 170 Nov. 13th, 2011. Then I have to cut to stay lean, so look for me to look like hacksquat or heyzeus909 by 2020.

yesterday was 3100 cals, workout was light, abs and random stuff that I didn’t get to in the past week. If that is my base, I am going to have to eat a lot to gain weight, even if it is just fat.
1 week to measure, maybe I am just exchanging fat for muscle, I hope so, but we’ll see.

That’s right, a goose egg. I’ve been shut out like the Mighty Ducks of Anahiem.
Actually, it is probably a delayed effect. I only weighed in 10 hours after the last meal which was 230 cals. Did some lifting this morning to ensure the protein got used up.
Total protein for yesterday 311 grams, 33% of my intake. Did some cardio last night, light walk for 20 min (random, a little jogging, and some fast paced, but mostly light), then took 5 min rest, and did interval. The interval was actually easy.
I will eat 3500 cals again today, expect to gain 1 -2 lbs by this weekend. Then 3-4 next week, and the week after. Then comes the cut, back to 2400 cal per day, with workouts.

I am making good progress. I feel hungry but full at the smae time.
Going to Sam’s club to get supplies, then Al-Anon, then the gym. Need to eat 2 meals in there, and a pure protein after workout then bed.
Wish me luck that I gain a pound. Just one, that’s all I ask. Just one for today.

Yesterday must have been fluke day. My weight dropped 3 lbs, I ate a lot and it all came back. I’m good now.
Did some lifting this morning after my shake, I figured I would use the protein right up. Some squats, shrugs, and a few others.
Tonight is some cardio for the heart. 20 min at 4 mph, and then interval at level 6 on the machine. I plan to eat a lot so I don’t ruin all of my lifting. But the cardio is necessary for the ticker to be healthy.

Totals for today, 3311 cals, 386 carbs ( 42%), 248 protein ( 30%), 99 fat ( 27%).
Hopefully I will regain the weight I lost and maintain and grow.
More of the same tomorrow. I would like to get to 167 by the end of the month, then I can cut for a couple of weeks, then bulk to mid-July, and finally cut to 8% BF for August 1st. At least it’s a plan.

I had a bagel today. I love those days when a rep brings in bagels in the morning, but I can’t have one because I don’t know how my diet will work out. Then it works out, and I get to eat a bagel. Awesome.

Has anyone seen the weight I am trying to gain?
I thought I ate well yesterday. Almost 2900 cal. Did my work out last night, legs day, and 15 min cardio (random program 3.25 mph). I even ate a pure protein bar after the workout, and went to bed within 45 minutes.
I woke up this morning, I lost 3 lbs. Checked the scale, still down 3 lbs. Went away, came back, still down 3 lbs. WTF!!!! I am supposed to be bulking. I am running out of money as I try to eat to grow. The kids are starving (no their not) as I eat everything in the house. What’s next? Should I eat the house?
So, I packed an extra 500cal in my lunch today. It is full to bursting, I can’t possibly get more in there. I BETTER GAIN WEIGHT!!
