I designed my workout around work, family, etc. But I forgot one thing. Summertime is yardwork time.
On Sunday, I mowed the lawn (walk behind) after coming home from the gym. woke up this morning with real sore legs. Monday is supposed to be legs day. I am thinking of pushing it back to Tuesday with the arms and abs.

Today is the first of my bulking diet. Aiming for 2900 calories, 300 carbs, 230 protein, and 79 fat. Today was a high activity day, so I went for the alternate diet: 3400,360, 280, 95. Ended the day at 3465, 433, 250, and 87. Not bad, pretty darn close.

I’m at Lifetime Fitness, and they offer free assessments to induce the purchase of proffessional training. So I am taking advantage of the assessments. Today is an assessment of my health and diet. This should be cool.

Does anyone know what happened to the edit stats section? It won’t load to make changes.

Last night the Chamber of Commerce argueing went waaaaaay tooooooo loooong! I ended up getting out of there at 9:30. If I had gone to the gym, it would have been the latest I ever went there. Since rest is important too, I excercised my right to skip.
I have a plan to train everyday, so skipping once a week is or even twice is actually to my benefit. The reason I train everyday is towork out stress, not for bodybuilding (that would require the rest).
Now I am committed to going in today, because I cannot skip two days in a row.

I hit the diet real well. I was in all of my goals, except fat, which I didn’t miss by much, and much of it was good fat anyway.
The workout was great. Did abs and arms. Abs was intense, and the cardio portion in the middle was even more intense. I like to think up ways to make simple excercises more intense.
Arms was good too.

I bought a scale with the electric BF monitor on it. It read drastically wrong, so I researched here, and a few other places.
It is back in the box now, and hopefully later today it will be back at the store for giving false results. In the mean time, several people have told me GNC has a manual caliper, real easy to use, and real cheap. Hopefully I will get that today also.

I had my BF checked a month ago, with calipers, it came out to 14.3%. I bought a scale with the electronic method yesterday, and it said 22%. Is there that much of a difference?

I cut the milk out of my whey smoothie a few days ago, then I saw a thread in nutritin on how milk was causing her some bloating. I am in an abs program right now, and I was not seeing results, then this morning, I did notice a lot less puffy layer on the abs. 4 days. Going to keep the milk out, but now I need to figure out the dairy issue.

I think it was an ok trade-off though. I set tile and did a few other repairs at the rental house. I got home at 11:45 pm. Muscles were sore all over. Anyone want a good workout for shoulders and knees, set some tile, and especially enjoy the grouting.
