So to keep things fresh and just to get some extra tips, I decided to cash in on one of the personal training sessions that come with most new gym memberships. Wow! There are muscles in my body that I didn’t know where there, and they are screaming at me letting me know that they exist! Don’t get me wrong, it’s great to have them aching just so that I know I’m making progress.
Another couple of weeks of this and I’ll post some progress photos too. I’m really curious on how they are going to turn out…more to come on those.

The new gym and partner are great! I’m feeling pumped about the whole thing.
Now it’s time though to get over the 4 - 6 week hump that I usually fall into. I’ve got everything lined up right so that nothing happens this time. 3 weeks from now I’ll be writing about how I made it… you’ll see!

I’ve got a new workout partner starting with me tomorrow. Hopefully this will keep me in line too. I am also transferring to another gym near work. I think that both of these factors will help with my motivation in the early stages.

I felt really weak tonight. I didn’t even get through with my whole workout. I drop some of the weight just to get through some of th sets. Something’s better than nothing right????

So, we don’t really know what the bet is, but there is one. He’s really gotta gain if he’s going to come close to winning though. What, a 6′ 4" 175lb. is going to beat me? I don’t think so.
I’m really going to have to step it up to win this thing, but I will win.
