Tuesday, December 4th, 2007

TABBY294

Yes I had to take a month off.  I quit smoking.  I wanted to make sure I focused completely on my quit, and it has been a rough month too!

Yesterday I finally got back to the gym, managed 35 mins of cardio.

20 min intervals on the cross trainer

15 mins level 5 on the stairmonster did stomach vacuums while on here

Cardio is sooo much easier now–I can breath!!!!!!  Whoo hoo!

Little chest & tris wo

Wednesday, October 17th, 2007

TABBY294

Didnt get to the gym, but I did go downstairs and do chest & tri’s. However, I forgot to do my pushups….arrrghhh

Bench press:
62.5 x 5
62.5 x 5
62.5 x 3
and then just for the heck of it I added 5 more lbs AND
67.5 x 2 woohoo I’ve been afraid to up it, but now I think I will start here. It may be a little easier if I start with it.

OH tri ext:
20 x 10
30 x 5 x 2

Tricep dips:
8 x 3

DB Flyes:
17.5 x 6 x 3

Doesnt seem like I’ve lost too much strength in my upper body. I started all of my weights with what I ended with before my surgery.

TABBY294

I am not enjoying this at all!  But I’ve got to try something!  I’ve heard that its best to do cardio first thing & fasted.  Soo, I’ve been skipping my coffee and getting right down to business.  Three days in a row 4 am cardio.  I’ve been more hungry the last couple of days too.  Seems like I could just graze all day long.  I havent been, but its been tempting!!!  Tonight is Chest & Tris, hopefully I can get to the gym, I hate do weight wo’s at home!

Trying to cut carbs a bit to get rid of the extra fat and increase cardio to 5x a week.  Getting it done at 4 am is no fun, but at least its out of the way!

TABBY294

I had abdominal surgery to remove a lump on 8/30, so wo’s have been non existant.  Started a walking program this week, I really feel great.  The dr says my recovery has been so good do to my wo.  Its 2 weeks and I dont even feel like I’ve had surgery.  No pain.  I so cannot wait to get back to lifting.  Keeping my eats clean so hopefully all of my walking will burn some additional fat.
