My legs are on freakin FIRE!!
Sunday, April 5th, 2009Okay so today was the 2nd time doing Stevep78’s leg workout! LEt me tell you it is not your everyday leg workout. Your heart rate is up the entire time and you are drenched in sweat before you walk out of the gym! It is the shit!! I am going to see such awesome results from this plan!! I am lifting heavier each time and plan to keep bumping up the weight each time to build more muscle! Here was my workout today:
Lunges- 5 sets- length of aerobics room and back was one set
Leg Extention- 4X 25 (35, 50, 50 lbs)
Squats- 6X 15- (145 lbs) [Wide stance toes pointed out, close stance]
Leg Press- 5X 15 (180, 180, 180, 230, 230 lbs)
Leg Curls- 4 X15 (35, 50 lbs)
Standing calf raises- 4 x 15 (100, 120, 140, 140 lbs)
Straight leg dead lifts- 4 X15 (50 lbs)
Finished off with 10 minutes on the elipital machine. I also worked in some abs among the leg exercises to give them a rest! Can’t wait for another leg workout which will be on Wednesday. These muscles needs some rest!!
