Hi Everyone. Well I’ve been thinking about what goals I want to set for myself in 2008 and the list is growing quickly!!! Fitness is on top of the list, of course, so I decided I’m going to break them down in my blog journal.
I’m starting with push ups!!!!! 14 weeks ago I began my structured weight training and clean eating regimen and so far it has been great. When I started I couldn’t do ANY regular push ups..Zero! None! Nada! 0! About three weeks later I managed to do three, barely. But I was excited. During week 10 I actually did 5 full push ups!! Yeah!! And today….I did 8. Nice round number
My goal for 2008 is to do One Arm Push Ups…A la Demi Moore on Letterman! Ha! Am I crazy???
I started out by doing push ups on my sitting bench at the foot of my bed ( I workout at home). Then I moved on to bended knee push ups. Some people like to call them ‘girly push ups’. Not so nice IMO. lol!
I’ll keep you all posted on my progress. And hopefully I’ll be able to post pics of me doing one armed push ups in 2008!! What’s a girl to wear for such an occasion!!! Ha!! I appreciate any input or advice and I would especially love to hear anyone’s own experience in being able to conquer these!!!
