Question: How do I fit work into my gym schedule?
Really?! Serious question! Here’s the problem…today is day 4 of week 11 (yes I know I’m obssessive and I keep track of that… wanna know the hour?). Anyway, all I think about now is working out. Any idea how difficult it is trying to muddle through a loan app when all you think about is the work out you’re gonna put in that day. It’s so easy to throw up your hands and head for the gym when you’re buried in someone else’s tax returns. Good for my physique…bad for my bank account. Yes! this is coming from the girl that initially wrote "I don’t" to the question "why you love it" on the profile page. What a differnece 11 weeks makes huh??? I need some serious help people

lol, there is no cure! its an addiction, but we do have a support group that meets on Wednesdays if you want! lol. Sorry, i had to make a joke, i know you are serious about it. I feel the same way… i sell copiers… whoopie. But I think that just like everything else we have to focus on what we HAVE to do so we can do what we WANT to do. Plus you feel a lot better at the end of the day knowing that you got more accomplished! Congrats on the 11 weeks! you are looking great!

Try working out before you go to work. Then you can spend all day enjoying the burn and become distracted with the desire to stretch.LOL

Yes, I will agree, it’s an addiction! Just, remember you need so much rest between workouts, so with my routine 24 hours is like 4:30PM or 5:00PM, every other day! Muscle need the recoup time for maximum benefit. I try to stay motivated by checking out BB at break and lunch!

I agree with bwesleyw, exercise before work. I prefer to work out in the morning because there are no distractions - who else is up at 5:30 AM? Then the rest of the day I feel more relaxed than if I hadn’t worked out. Kind of a relaxed high. As a added bonus of working out in the morning, if I don’t have anything going on after work, I can throw in some more cardio.
Whatever you are doing, it is definitely making an impact on your body. So, keep up the good work and consider exercising in the morning.

This has always been an issue for me as well, but just like when I go to the gym I have learned to leave everything else at the door. I never think about work when I am at the gym so I try to do the same when I am at work (of coarse I am at work right now and what am I doing but writing on a bodybuilding web site)! Never mind I am no help in this department at all.
