Oh sweetie, you really are the best! I'm so proud of you, and yes, a bit envious that you can eat alot of the crap that I can't and still see results! But I won't hold that against you ;-) I'm so proud of you, you've come a long way in a short time!

Thanks - I really just need to keep pushing on both. I tried pull downs and got stronger - but I really am making progress in the assisted (if I ignore ego) and the mid grip pulldowns are really helping get a deeper range of motion on the lats. Glad to see you posting! Hope your shoulder is better!

It seems you had a good workout on this one. Good for you, it's always nice when you get the "Solid" feeling. I had the same problem with the assisted pull up machine, for sometime it was hard for me to use as I was feeling weak, and doing pull up was out of the questions. Since, it was my weakest point at the time I decided to work harder on it. What really helping the most was the pull down. At some point I was able to lift my own body weight and and then I started using the assited pull up machine for efficiently. Then, once I was able to use and was solid on it. I was able to do two or three pull ups. I was really happy to accomplish this. But, really the pull down in my situation helped me a lot.

I got nailed by a calzone the other day.... funny how it conicided with my weight jumping 3 lbs. I have no sweet tooth with is great but pizza gets me too. I have lately been eating no cheese veggie/grilled chicken pizza. That makes it not so bad but the volume of calories just kills it anyways regardsless of how clean I try to make it. Plus, if you are like me, when you do cheat, it is normally for dinner so it is even worse. You look pretty darn lean in you rnew photo, you must not be eating too many doughnuts.

Very good idea, when you do for theforms it's amazing the workout you get from doing that. When I do mine, usually the next day I feel it in my legs a lot. because of the sign wave motions of flexing your legs at the beginning and the end of the move. Not, sure if you have this in your forms, it's pretty specific to ITF style tkd Also, it gives you a nice break from the gym you can be outside too.

Ths look like a great workout you had. If your back is your weakest area try to incorporate into your training some core training. If you have a strong core you are going to be able to perform the weight exercises even better, and also will be able to lift heavier. Many people disregard core training, but your core is the center of your body. And most people with back problem, or weak back muscle usually is better their core is not strong enough.
