Milestones

I just wanted to stop and thank everyone here for supporting this community.  I have been targeting milestones over the last two years to get to where I am today - and it is still just a milestone on the road to where I am headed.  I have learned a great deal and believe I am a better person for the journey.  I still have a long way to go - both physically and in knowledge, but it is one of those times where I like to sit back and say "Wow!  This is good progress!"  So - thanks to all for being here and providing a place for motivation, reflecting, and progress! Have a great weekend!

Photo crazy

OK - I struggled for a LONG time but finally got some shots I am really proud of.  They actually captured what me eyes told me was coming.  It suprised me how much prep there was to getting even this degree of "photo ready".  Long term nutrition, water removal, posing trunks (my first time - lol), tanning - all for a couple pics?  Am I crazy?  Well - seeing the results and having something to remind me what I can acheive when I want to is priceless in my book!  Thanks for all those who posted articles, blogs, and their own photos - VERY inspirational stuff!  Keep it up!

Kept to nutrition plan (mostly) while out sick but I am seriously jonesing for some gym time!  I really felt like I was making progress and BAM! some stupid virus takes me right out!  Just a little humbling I guess.  Thanks to all on here posting such amazing progress against adversity - makes my little hiatus seem like a trivial setback,  Keep it up!

Feeling a bit puffy from laying in bed sick for 2 days BUT I did get to figure out the timer on the camera so I took a couple shots and added one to my album.  Now - to get back in the gym!!!

Sick but not done!

OK - so I caught the crud but just because I cannot get to the gym - I will not quite on my diet!  That is the mistake I used to make - seperating the gym from the rest of my lifestyle.  Now - I just get more sleep, eat good calories till I can get back in the gym and not lose the lean mass I busted my butt for in the first place.  Keep strong all!

Obsessed

OK - I used to hate the camera.  Now I seem to be obsessed with it.  Still hate it because I cannot work the stupid thing but since I started doing wake-up cardio and extra gym sessions in the afternoon (oh and dialing in the diet) I have started making some forward progress again towards the next goal.  Now if I can just figure out how to pose and push the button at the same time…
