A great workout today

Today was a great workout.  I had a headache all day long but still gave my all in the gym for over an hour and a half.  I am after the 1st place prize in the Muscle Tech Body Transformation Contest and I plan to get it.  I think it is great that they judge on before and after pics rather than who is the biggest bodybuilder.  If that were the case I would not stand a chance in He#@!  Anyway I incorporated supersets into my work out for the first time in my new quest and really bumped up intensity.  I rested no more than 60-75 secs between all sets.  Even the supersets!!!!  I moved some real weight today acheiving an all time best for overall lbs. and it was not even leg day!!!!  I feel good and my diet has been right for the most of the week.  Still too many carbs at night but I am working on that.  I took Sixstar Muscle Drenaline for about the 4th time and still feel wired but not spacy and jittery as in previous uses.  Body is adjusting I guess.  I am pumped about getting up early and hitting the gym first thing a.m to work my legs, back, and abs.  Sunday I will take the day off or maybe do some cardio here at the house.  I have got to start getting more rest in or I’ll suffer in more ways than 1.  Anyway I am feeling like I am looking…GOOD :D   I hope I can score a win here on bodybuilding.com for my first contest.

Overtrainning: PASSION LEADS TO PAIN

Due to my addiction to the gym I have made myself a victim.  Overtrainning my muscles by not giving them adequate rest time for recovery.  It was almost 14 days straight without a day off from the gym and now I am paying for it with my joints and tendons.  My nutrition fell during this time as well to further worsen the situation. ( A few days I’d eat only 1 to 2 meals.)   I still saw some growth but catabolism set in and my muscles were feeding off one another so overall growth suffered as well as muscle strength.  For instance:  Now when I dip then my front shoulders scream with pain.  And when I rise in the morning I feel discomfort all over my body.  Not DOMS either.  Now I’ll have to baby it in the gym for a week or two or even worse; miss a few workouts so I can recover.

Is it not monotonous using the workout tracker?  i need to start carrying a gym log and writting it all down because doing it from memory is impossible after a few days.  I guess that would have been wise months ago.

What’s a Man 2 do?

I look foward to going to train in the gym all day every day.  My wife gets home and we eat dinner, then I am out the door and don’t get home until 8 or after.  My wife is upset she doesn’t see me anymore.  I want to be here with her but also desire to go to the gym.  I have decided to only go every other night now to see how that goes.  We will see.  Anyone else having trouble balancing their loves?  Please let me know how you handle it.

Novadex HT

I started Novadex earlier last week and am already noticing differences in my musculature.  Also the side effects of other supps I am taking have been minimized.  Aggression is up a bit but nothing extreme.  I was also stacking another Tribulus product but have discontinued it.  The two together had me raging like steroids have been said to do.

2day I start

The T booster that is.  I am taking Twinlabs Trib Extreme Fuel and my Gaspari Novadex and BSN Nitrix will soon be here via UPS.  I will take lots of progress pics and document each work out to see how well I fare they work.  Has anyone out there tried either product and have some feedback for me I’d appreciate it?

THE MASS STACK

I have been using Cell Mass and NO Xplode for about 2 1/2 weeks.  This is some serious stuff.  I have seen steroid like gains in muscularity and despite eating for weight gain I have not gained a pound.  Can anyone tell me why I should discontinue these products after 12 weeks?
