Day 35 (February 8th, 2013): I weighed in today at 203.8 lbs. Some women in the office are starting over with their weight loss journey, and I wanted to join them and have a starting point to help encourage them in their healthy pursuits. The end of February 2011 I weighed in at the most I’ve ever weighed, and as of today, I’ve lost 33 lbs. However, today at the area meeting we had a welcome to our office for a new person, which included having vegetable soup (V8 based). I wanted it to be healthy, but some people brought in snack cakes, a big Muddy Chocolate cake, and other goodies. I restrained myself mostly, but still went over my calorie count by the end of lunch. Then, my husband and I went out with my in-laws for dinner, so I know I went even further over. However, I did get salmon and chicken with rice and mixed vegetables for dinner, but unfortunately, I had some waffle fries and part of an icecream cupcake. So, I know my weight tomorrow is going to be bad. However, LIFE cannot be put on hold to reach healthy goals. One must learn to reach goals with their daily lives and make better choices with what is given.
