Well what can I say, time has just gotten away from me as of lately. I haven’t been able to blog in a few weeks, but i haven’t forgotten:) So I have continued to work out at least 5 days a week for the most part with the exception of the week I went back home to Florida for some R&R. Good trip…ate too much, slept too much, and exercised too little. Fell off the wagon from my so called "clean eating" and I have yet to recover. I wish i could just work out super hard and eat whatever I want and still see some results. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work out that way for me. Anyways, I’ve uploaded some progress pictures. Maybe my progress, or the lack there of, will continue to motivate me.
Like the Japanese proverb, "Fall down seven times, get up eight". Guess what, at the end of it all, I am still left standing and moving forward!

Well, ok week so far. I was able to make it into the gym 6 days this week. I’ve been trying to pick it up a gear. I’ve been doing reps to failure… and i’m definitely feeling the soreness. Still no changes on the scale though, but i guess i should give it some time. As for nutrition, I’ve tried to clean up my diet but that’s my biggest challenge. Not really big on breakfast but i’ve been forcing myself to eat something so i’ll have enough energy for my morning workouts. Lately I’ve been having some computer problems; and by problems i mean my computer crashed and I lost my entire hard drive (sniff, sniff). So I haven’t been able to upload any pictures yet. But I’ll post some progress pics as soon as I can. So I’m really trying to lose some body fat, but I don’t want to lose any strength that i’ve gained thus far. I get in 30 min of cardio a day. I’m wondering if i should do 2 sessions a day; weight training in the morning and cardio for like an hour in the evening?
Lasting thoughts: “Be the change you want to see in the world” We often complain about our situations or life in general, but i pose the question: What have you done to change it? The world is here for our taking, go out and claim your happiness!

Greetings,
My name is Jennifer and I am new to Bodybuilding.com. I’m a fan of physical fitness so I joined to gather support and motivation from others. Seeing others at a level I aspire to be is a great motivation tool for me. I’ve got more flexibility in my schedule for the summer thus I decided it’s time to get serious about my fitness pursuits. Since goal setting is important to any accomplishment, mine are as follow: 1) Drop 15 lbs over then next 2 months (and decrease my body fat %, 2) Do an unassisted pull up (didn’t realize how hard this is.. everyone else makes it seems so easy), 3) Fit back into my perfect pair of jeans
With that said, I look forward to this journey.
My plan is to provide weekly updates with the blogging and pics, etc. By actually putting myself out there and saying i’m completely committed to it, I’m more likely to stick with it. Always said i was a woman of my word…so it’s time to prove it! Please feel free to provide and advice/suggestions. I welcome the feedback.
