Disgusting Comments
OK, I’m really putting myself out there on this one and some might ask "why draw more attention to a negative situation?" Here’s my reasoning. I emailed bb.com and asked whether this type of conduct and language is permitted. No one seems to care. Read these comments for yourself and tell me (or them) what you think of this level of discussion. Is this a safe environment?

I honestly think it’s like a locker room mentality. All the guys talking about the hot women they see out in the gym. I think that a discussion like that is better suited to be in private among buddies and not in a public forum such as that. Did you talk to a moderator at bb.com or just someone who runs the site? There should be some guidelines that people have to follow.

Well, I don’t think it’s as gross as it is a comment on the maturity level of these chaps. And in the end it is simply a RUDE testiment to how attractive you are and how animalistic and childish some guys can be. As difficult as it is, I say rise above it and take it for what it’s worth. A bunch of guys showing the world how unclassy they are. As for you, you are a beautiful and mature woman who looks 10 years younger then she is and who shouldn’t waste her time with people who can’t appreciate the hard work. Keep it up.

Sugarmomma is one of the most inspirational people I know. She just rocks! She’s beautiful, smart, successful and has a wonderful heart. I read the thread and it turned my stomach.

Who did you email? I just went through that post myself and was shocked. That is a bunch of crap. No one should have to read things like that. Of course they are just immature punks who have no respect for people who actually have a life and enjoy it. I wouldn’t put to much into it. I have seen the same things said about us on JustinTV.com. There are people out there unfortunately that don’t have anything better to do but put others down to build on an already big ego because they don’t have anything else. If they did they wouldn’t have to say crap like that.

I agree with BanrionTine - this site is not about deniration - in general it is about being supportive of the self improvement efforts of others. Fortunately most males grow out of their testosterone driven stupidity. Unfortunately some take a long time to do so.

People will always have bad things to say; its either because they are envious or jealous that you’ve succeeded in areas that they haven’t. Unfortunately, it seem that the negative are the things that we allow to set us back. Ignore those comments, and focus on the positive things. Associate yourself with people that respect you and have the same goals and morals in life as you do..

this just goes to show the mentality of the 17, 18 year old children who think they are the best thing since sliced bread and can "hit" anything they want. The vast majority come here to actually be productive and reach goals, These guys are too chicken **** to actually say these things to your face i bet. It’s amazing how "alpha" and "tough" a keyboard can make a person.

Really shocked at what i read…ye sure im a guy and sometimes as people say locker room stuff boys being boys but this is bb.com not some silly chat room …this is a place to respect people meet friends share training and fitness as a way of life …..they are just a bunch of silly boys not men. I think it may be they are just jealous because they could never get a woman as classy and attractive as you to go out with them. So they live in fantasy land. I think there is a saying for that. Sadly, the misc section is full of 14-16 year old boys who are crude and rude because they do not know how to act. Blame it on the fact that the Internet hides them and that way they can post what they want without the fear of getting in trouble. Most of these guys would not have the gall or confidence to approach you in real life so the misc section is all that they have got.

It’s definitely locker room talk - they don’t even connect their comments to an individual. You’re just a… marker of some sort, an icon, I guess for them to make comments about. Immature, rude, inappropriate, but not unexpected as kids will be kids and, unfortunately, it’s a whole ‘nother world when it comes to behavior these days.
PLUS it’s the Misc. portion of the forums which is, basically, a no man’s land or something akin to the wild wild west. I’m surprised, however, that admin didn’t delete at the very least the especially crude comments (about 90% of them).
