I *LOVE* Lifting!

I had one of those days in the gym yesterday where everything just comes together.  I felt strong, my lifts went great, and the pump I got was just fantastic.  I know there’s such thing as a runner’s high, but what about a lifter’s high?  I sear when you have a killer session of lifting it is just the most amazing feeling.  I felt so alive, so energized, so frakking good.  I’m closing in on age forty and lifting has made me feel stronger, better, and more alive than I’ve even been in my life.  I started lifting to change how I looked on the outside, but I didn’t count on how much it would change me on the inside.  I LOVE lifting!!!

There’s no point to this.  I just felt like contributing a positive rant.  :)

The lifter’s high is real, there’s no feeling like it. I’m getting it almost every workout using the 3-S program. At 44 I feel and look better than ever and there’s no looking back!

What’s not to feel great about after a great lifting session? And yes, it does change you on the inside as well as the outside!

The best high in the world is the high you get from a butt busting workout. That is why this like those othe things is truly an addiction

I get those too. So count on lot more of those for at least another nine years, kiddo.

    ;)

    Sorry for the double post.

I find the more pain I endure during my work-out the more endorphins I will have post-workout.

I sometimes actually say to myself under my breath while working out "The more pain you endure, the better you’ll feel afterward."

    Works for me every time.

    Like a charm.
