I’ve been lifting for years!

It feels so great to be able to say that.  I’ve got two years of lifting under my belt now.  I definitely have noticed a different attitude with the second year.  The first year I was happy with my progress but I still had some doubts.  The first year I had to overcome a lot of built up fear and doubt to make myself even start.  I felt more like a person trying to be comfortable with the gym and a new lifestyle but not 100% sure I could do it.  The second year is when I really started to feel differently.  I now feel like lifting is a part of me and I’m excited to continue doing it for a long, long time.  It’s hard to explain but I feel that lifting has made me into the person I was always supposed to be.

I haven’t made it to one full year yet-but almost there, so I can really relate to the having progress but still some doubts..seeing is believing and muscle takes time to grow…great progress though!

Good job. Major progress man. I can’t wait to get muscle maturity; only one year under my notch. Here’s to the life of fitness!

I’m thisclose to stealing that quote and using that as my own.

Man oh man, what a great quote.

Great before and after shot, too.

That is a great before and after shot.

Funny that when we begin we have the fears to overcome and now we cannot imagine life without lifting.

I agree with Herm, that is an awesome quote.
