Yesterday and Today
All my friends…my workouts are going fantastic!! Yesterday I did my WOD after finding myself needing to channel anger and hurt…but it turned it into a very powerful workout! Its amazing how heartbreak can give you power you didnt know you had!
I have been biking everyday to and from work…this last two days has been sooo windy that at times I have been leaning hard to keep my bike upright…or pedaling into the wind at on the lowest gear possible like I was climbing a mountain! lmao Damn the prairie winds can be strong! I think they were in excess of 70kms an hour yesterday!
GJ..you will love this…there has been a hawk that has soared high above me on each of my morning rides up to work!! So beautiful and peaceful…and a little distracting..damn ADD….lol But fortunatly no parked vehicles …so I could enjoy his majestic presence both mornings!!
My weight is down 6lbs since last sunday!! THANK YOU KVNJames for the right combo of numbers and food!!
Now…the workouts….
Yesterdays WOD was:
30 squat clean and Jerks which I did at 105lbs!!! Again…its amazing what you can do when your channeling energy threw your body and letting it give you great strength!! I didnt realize this was supposed to be timed….so I dont have a time for ya’ll. But I only took a few breaks…and mostly at the end as my arms were shaking like leaves in the trees!! lol
Todays WOD was even more BRUTAL…but bring it on!! I am still full of so many emotions and workouts help to funnel the incredible swamping of feelings flooding threw my spirit! My brain needs a rest….so putting my body threw such intense workouts allows me to not think of anything but the muscles…anything but the moment…my heart gets a rest even if only temporarily…
So today for time:
100 Pullups ~ ya’ll know I cant do these yet…lmao So I did jumping pull ups and some negatives…but I did all 100~ one day I WILL be able to pull my italian bootie up without help or a jump!
100 pushups…HOLY crap…my tri’s are burning right now even as I type
100 situps…full and hardcore…pleease dont make me laugh tomorrow!
100 squats…oh my burning quads!
I still feel like I might puke! lmao It didnt happen…but ohhhh I think it was close a few times! I did this in 22 minutes!! And now my body wants a hot bubble bath with some sea salts!!
Pixie…my heart is going out to you girl!!
GJ…STAY FOCUSED…its almost over!! Well at least until the next time!!

Holy crap!!
Way to channel you energy in a postive way and awesome on the weight loss. I wish my scale would move…grrr!

SWEET! Congrats on your workout! And hawks are sooooooo beautiful! We have foxes near my work, but the field they live in is having a building/parking lot built on it
I saw one of them had been hit by a car on my way in (not me I swear!) to work yesterday, but the other one was sneaking into its home. Makes me sad to see development over wild animal’s homes. It’s happening far too much!

Amazing!!! Just… amazing. Your workouts are terrific, Stormi! Way to go on the 6 pound drop!! What sort of changes did you make to your eating?? I am saving up all your workouts to do someday soon!!

For those looking for more diet info….my trainer is KVNJames!! He ROCKS!! My diet is pretty much all up to him!! And I try to stay as close to what he gives me as possible!! But each person is different…i’m an ‘easy keeper’ so my diet might be different than the next persons! Kevin and Denise are incredible at sorting that out and I HIGHLY recommend both of their expertise on diets!!
