Woke up early to pack and then drive up to New Hampshire for my summer classes. The dorm is really nice. I have my own bedroom and share a living room, kitchen and bathroom with 3 other girls. I went grocery shopping and tried to be as healthy as possible getting organic when I could and trying new things. Over 200 carbs today and less than 70 grams of protein. Hit over 1,500 calories for the day again. Gotta bring that back down, no more boredom eating. I really have to tune into my blood sugar levels, insulin, growth hormone and physical hunger instead of just eating because there is nothing else to do.

Sunday 10
I can believe that deep in my glutes are actually sore just from a little bit of jumping around with less
than 5 lbs in my hands. If I do another round with the dvd it wont be until later tonight, if at all.
Monday 11
Went to lunch with my grandma and mom. Bought some Jojoba oil and got a book from the library but once I was home I took a nap. I woke up long enough to shower and have some chobani before my migraine took over and I went to bed.
Tuesday 12
Went to BJs with my grandma then took my brother to the potter league to look at the dogs. I let him drive my car a bit on some side roads too.
Wednesday 13
Let my brother drive again today then went to dinner with him and my Dad. Then we had a fire in the backyard. Read more than half of my book in bed too.
Thursday 14
Woke up ay 1! Showered and went to middletown to tan and to get a poster board for my brother. Then my friend came over. Finished the rest of my book after she left.

Woke up with the guy. Went to my dorm and was sad/upset to pack and go home. Took my anatomy exam and suddenly felt great. Met up with the guy a last time and then proceeded to lug every part of my life out of my dorm and into my dads van. What a work out that was! Throwing around my mini-fridge and brim-filled totes up and down two flights of stairs countless times. My back, legs and biceps are going to be screaming tomorrow! I didn’t realize that I didn’t eat until 1 pm and I wasn’t even actually hungry. Got home and unpacked and set up my room then kind of just chilled out for the rest of the night. The moving around and car ride got me real tired so I went to be pretty early. Bruises are already starting to show up on my legs from carrying the crates.

Well going to the gym and making money hasn’t been going as well as planned. My car’s battery died so it was in the shop for a week. The day after I got it back I slipped across the road on ice and snow into a pole. The repairs are probably going to take 2 weeks. Great - 3 weeks without the gym!! While I will still be able to work, my hours will be limited and some of the cash will be diverted to the tow truck company. Super =/

After failing the first car inspection, fixing the door and the license plate light, we found out the tire had to be replaced the check engine light came on. We replaced the tire, disconnected the battery, put in some fresh anti-freeze and cleaned the muck off a few connections under the hood. Yes now we take the car in (on two separate days) to finally have it pass inspection. After 200 miles, the new tire forms a bubble, potentially very dangerous and would most likely pop in the next 25 miles. Ok, another new tire! Take it in and put it on today. No lights blinking, no funny noises or sounds and everything is safetly in working condition. Good news? The tire guy filled up the gas tank again for me. I have yet to pay for gas out of my own pocket after 200 miles and just 1/2 tank. Now its back to full and only put about 20 miles on it today going to and from work. At this rate, I’ll probably only have to fill up 2 or 3 times before Im off to college =]

Its been awhile since I did any real, consistent training and its been even longer since I blogged about it. Now that I have my own car I am free to go to the gym whenever, with whoever and for as long or as little as I’d like. In order to reinspire myself and get myself back into the groove and the mindset I was in at the begining of May (the peak of my training, nutrition and supplementation) I’ve pulled out the back log of oxygen magazines (I went months without reading them), I am starting to read articles here again, downloaded a few podcasts to listen to on the way to the gym, created a well thought out meal plan for the week, re-stocked up on the essentail foods, have been getting more sleep and lastly been putting my body before other interests of mine such as getting ready for dorm life, learning french for paris, saving money and being simplified and organized.
Whew I’d say thats quiet a good list to have accomplished in the past 3 days. I am really sore from yesterdays leg, back and chest workouts and Im saving Shoulders, biceps, triceps and abs for tomorow when I can go with my younger brother. But I have an hour to kill before I go to work and Im thinking about loading up my mp3 player with some more podcasts and just hopping on the bike for a little while.

Driving home from work at night is the best on my gas mileage. Theres not many cars around and its alot of down hill roads. Tonight it took me 15 minutes to get home and by the end of the trip I had gotten my mpg to 35.6 by going into neutral as much as I could and staying there. I also tried to keep it in 5th gear, but right under 2x RPM when I was in drive.
From now on though, I will be driving my own 2003 Ford Focus and not my moms passat. The passat is great on gas and drives smoothly, I can only hope the focus is the same.
