Fixed Car ; Finally!
Friday, July 18th, 2008After failing the first car inspection, fixing the door and the license plate light, we found out the tire had to be replaced the check engine light came on. We replaced the tire, disconnected the battery, put in some fresh anti-freeze and cleaned the muck off a few connections under the hood. Yes now we take the car in (on two separate days) to finally have it pass inspection. After 200 miles, the new tire forms a bubble, potentially very dangerous and would most likely pop in the next 25 miles. Ok, another new tire! Take it in and put it on today. No lights blinking, no funny noises or sounds and everything is safetly in working condition. Good news? The tire guy filled up the gas tank again for me. I have yet to pay for gas out of my own pocket after 200 miles and just 1/2 tank. Now its back to full and only put about 20 miles on it today going to and from work. At this rate, I’ll probably only have to fill up 2 or 3 times before Im off to college =]
