I copied this from self.com, which is a great way to keep track of your workouts.
I started running again this week and it felt really good. I am hoping to get more in next week.
Week 6 Goals:
5 hours cardio
3 hours strength
Cals. 1500-1700 (more realistic)

Week Four

Saturday, April 19th, 2008

So I didn’t get any running in. I am really into listening to my body these days and it is sooo sore from yoga that it almost hurts to walk. Also, I was on antibiotics, which forces one to slow down. Nevertheless, I did get in some great workouts and I started eating every 3 hours again, which makes me feel so fabulous.

Monday: 60 minutes yoga (this yoga isn’t for sissies, my boyfriend who lifts and runs could barely make it through when he went); 20 minute walk

Tuesday: 30 minute power walk with hand weights (in hilly area); 30 minutes lunges, squats, push-ups, ect.

Wednesday: 90 minutes yoga (we worked on shoulders and inner thighs, kill me now:)

Thursday: 60 minute, brisk walk

Friday: I’M BACK! Starting teaching my cycle class again and loved it. 55 min. spin class; 30 min. on the elliptical level 3-5

Saturday: Woke up with cramping calves, planning on a 60-min., brisk walk

Sunday: AIMING for a 4 mile run, we’ll see

Next Week Goals:

Nutrition: 1400-1600 calories, eating every 3 hours, no processed foods

Workouts: 5 hours cardio; 3 hours strength
Mix it up (hoping to get a run in, try a new kick boxing workout, teach cycle, and an elliptical workout) for a total of 5 hours cardio; Aiming for 3 yoga classes and to do some lunges, squats and such when I can fit in (hell, I might even add weights back but I am not feeling that it is necessary with these yoga classes. Who knew???)

Third week

Thursday, April 10th, 2008

Sunday — 2.5 mile run super fast, 25 min walk

Monday — 90 mins yoga, 25 min walk
Tuesday — 2.5 mile run, 30 min walk

Wednesday — Rest (90 min. massage)

Thursday — 1.5 run super fast, 30 min. brisk walk, 60 min. yoga

Friday — AIM for 3.5 mile- run

Saturday — AIM for 60 min. walk or run remaining milage (for a total of 10)

Sunday — Alexander’s birthday so aim for whatever you can get

The Second Week

Friday, April 4th, 2008

I had to take it a little easy this week because my body told me so, but today’s run was spectacular because of it — four miles and my longest run ever.

Sunday — 3 mile run, 15 min walk

Monday — 90 mins yoga (sore for 4 days, it was so intense!!!!)

Tuesday — 2.5 mile run, 25 min walk, 20 mins yoga
Wednesday — 50 min. power walk

Thursday — 20 min. morning walk, 30 min. evening walk

Friday — 4 mile run, 10 min. walk

Saturday — Rest as I will be out of town

Total Running Milage Week One: 10 miles

Total Running Milage Week Two: 9.5 miles

Goal for week three: 11-12 miles
