New personal best

I was thrilled with the 22 mins 30 sec. time on two miles on Saturday but today I ran it in 19 mins 20 sec. I am so impressed with myself!!!! Now I just need to up my runs to 3 miles and then 4 and then 5 and then 6……

Now that I am beach ready (my body fat came in at 17%. That is awesome, but I have no idea what I weigh but I don’t want to ruin how good I feel so I am not getting on that darn scale), I want to focus on a new goal. Increasing my running distance. Today I ran 2 miles in 22 mins and 30 secs. The boyfriend mapped out a 2 mile loop for me with his car.

The plan is to run every other day to allow for recovery. So Monday I am aiming for 3 miles, Wednesday for 4, and back to 2 on Friday or Saturday. That would put me at a total of 11 miles run for the week. My short-term goal is to build up to 6 miles straight. I hope to run a 10K at the end of March.

One more pound shed….

I shed a whopping .8 pounds in the last week! I am so excited that I am staying on track. New progress pics are coming soon. Great progress and by March I am going to have a killer body!!!!!
