Mixed feelings lift

The Leg Press, the one machine where average men and sometimes woman can lift absurds amount of weight that is sometime 4 times their normal squat. I weigh currently naked 183lbs 184 with gym clothes on no shoes. This past Wednesday I leg pressed 1,300 pounds for one set of 6 and then 90 seconds later a set of 4. My legs were toast. Tomorrow I am going to push for 1,350 for at least 5 sets of 4 to 5, and I will record each set individually and put it up on my body space. Doing the math thats more than 7 times my body weight. I want everyone who can take a look at the videos and tell me how my form is I will be using fairly narrow stance so obviously my legs will not come out past my sides but i will let the weight come down into my chest.

I’m trying to find photos and stats for comparison of top bodybuilders and where they were statistically at my age. I cant find any pics of Jay Cutler when he was only 20. Any one got any tips or links for Me I want to know where I stand next to those guys at my age.

Once a week or twice a week

When I put on 13 pounds from feb 2nd to mid march I trained each body part once a week 5 sets of 5 each exercise. Towards the end of March My recovery time seemed to double and with my new batch of supps that Just arrived I’m taking the initiative to now train each body part twice a week with two days rest in between muscle group and sundays off. My only fear is that I’m a ectomorph and with my small joint I might become overloaded and experience elbow and knee pains. Any thoughts

Looking for Change

My new batch of supps comes in on Monday. While with my previous batch and routine I put on roughly 12 to 13 pounds between Feb 2 and March 13, I feel my body is ready to take on More. I find my recovery time for every muscle group right now with an awesome diet is two days. SO I was wondering if anyone had suggestions for a workout routine were I hit each muscle group except lower back two times a week. Currently I’m doing every muscle group obviously once. Again I’m still bulking

Why can’y some just Man Up?

I find myself in constant conflict when playing basketball. Giving the fact my athletic background lays in track and football and I’ve developed as a man to be a speed machine and athletically elite to my average friends. I combine strength flexibility and explosiveness to make my opponents look silly. The guys I play basketball with are by no means what you call athletically gifted granted their not slobs but you can tell none of them no what it means to have dedicated their lives to their training to better themselves in their sport they just play. So last night we are playing 4 vs 4 full court my kind of game I can run more. I play hard and train even harder. I’ve grown up being the short small guy. As a man I don’t like being pushed around I don’t like it if someone can overpower me so I’ve trained to the point that not many can. When were playing some solid 4 vs 4 on the court its not college or an NBA game its man ball. Don’t call everything you can your not impressing anyone. I’m guarding my man and when he lowers a shoulder to drive im going to shuffle my body to meet the contact its not my fault he can get by me fast enough. It get to the point were I will be driving the court and two guys will try to sandwhich me and  I lower my shoulder to drive to the basket they arent fast enough so I take both of them down with me and call the blocking fould because both of them dragged me down. At this point all I hear is little piss ant comment of how my roid rage is acting up and just trash talk about the style of playing. If someone comes inside I put an arm up and jump if we meet in the air so be it but christ these guys need to stop complaining and just Man it up.

Long Time No Post

Hows everyone doing, haven’t posted in a bit or done new pics lifes been busy. I’m still sitting at a solid 183 and still trying to go up. My dead lifts are coming along nicely as my lower back continues to heal. Last weeks deadlift workout was 5 sets of 5 with 365 today 5 sets of 5 with 385 and it wasn’t as hard. Just wanted to get back into the grove with everyone September 27th is the date for me.

Training Mentality

Just seeing were people stand on their training mentality. I believe in go big or go home. I push my limits each workout, I always bring a spotter so I can push beyond failure. Even if I going for sets of 20 its has to push my threshold.
