So I’m still at it on the 12 week transformation program. I still feel weak compared to what I was over the summer, but that’s to be expected considering how much time I had to take off from lifting.
I already know I will be missing the Friday: Legs/Shoulders workout this week as I am leaving for a Vegas weekend on Thursday and coming back Sunday morning for Mother’s Day.
Gains have been ok, not great but ok. Size is getting a little better and strength is slowly improving. Its mostly my arms holding my back on heavy rows or any kind of press.
We’ll see what the remaining 9 weeks have in store for me.

I’m finally back to working out. I had to take some time off due to serious health issues. I have never felt so weak in the gym, it’s like starting all over again. The nice thing is this time I am already armed with knowledge and a program so I will hopefully see some gains more quickly than when I first started. My goals have also changed a little bit, I am no longer lifting for sport purposes. I plan on training more for strength and appearance, rather than for football training.
Things to still address: I still have pretty bad eating habits, I need to clean out the fridge and pantry and start all over with healthier foods. My biggest problem on that front is that I have some strange time constraints due to the weird hours of the UW Business School because of the remodel and then with work. I’ll figure something out, I may be having to prepare meals multiple days in advance and simply reheat them, which sounds nasty but I gotta make some changes if I want to have my body make changes.
To anyone that reads this: please send me suggestions for the things I’m working on improving. Thanks all.

So now that its summer time I had to change gyms for a few months, but I get to work out more with my older brother which is really nice, the good conversations and such make lifting much more fun and have renewed my passion for moving large heavy objects in a repetitive fashion.

I dunno why but its been getting harder and harder to get myself so the gym, I enjoy working out but, I find it hard to get going to do it.

Just got back from the gym today and it was rough. I was struggling today with my DB bench and just felt weak all day. I just didn’t feel 100% in the gym today. I don’t know what was up but I hope it was just an off day for me.

So I was really happy yesterday that I’m shoing signs of breaking off this slump I’ve been in. I’ve been srtuggling to increase poundage on dumbbell bench press and I finally made a weight improvement yesterday with a bit of help from a spotter. Still looking forward to not needing that little extra help!
