Is it just me or are gainers a waste of money and digestive tracks?… I’ve been trying to put on weight for a while now, the wrong way…. obviously. Putting my nutrition last next to supps and training hard. Now im trying to pay attention to my intake, trying to get up to 5000 calories a day, so i’ve been checking out these "gainers". The highest suggested ones have about 600 calories per serving. which is cool, exept for the fact that it’s 152g serving. Five scoops of my protein powder (150g) and i get the same 600 calories. Not to mention i get about 140g of protein compared to 60 at best with the gainers. besides fats and wasting the protein i dont use, why should i even bother with a gainer? I can get my fats from all the meals i’m trying to consume. Going heavy on the rice so im getting carbs… What’s the point, really?
