Ok, so I know I am a day late with the day 3 blog but here it is. Wednesday was a resting day, so no lifting and not cardio.
So I got up at 4:45 a.m. and made my lunch for work, hopped on here to check my comments and any private messages, and then headed off to work, got there and started at 6:45 a.m. worked until 5:00p.m. (Running around a warehouse all day can be a pretty good work out of its own.) then I came home, took a nice relaxing shower got online and answered all the questions I have been getting from people who are preparing for Gladiator tryouts in the local area in the next few weeks to come. After that it was off to bed around 8:15 p.m. for a full night’s sleep.
I had no breakfast (Need to make sure I get up earlier) I had a travel pack of mixed nuts for morning snack, and for lunch it was two very tender turkey sandwiches with a bottle of vitamin water to wash it down, no evening snack, and ham steak and mashed potatoes and brown gravy for dinner.
That pretty much sums up my Wednesday.

Day two and still going strong, no work out today, but an hour or more of running on the treadmill will start as soon as I finish this post.
I woke up at 5 a.m. and picked up a breakfast jack for breakfast, for my morning snack I had two chicken sandwiches from Jack in the box, and for lunch I brought a stuffed to the max turkey sandwich on a wheat roll, but sadly I gave into the dark side at afternoon snack and had two honey buns from my works vending machine (I hate that thing)
I day went by really well, and one of my fellow employees brought in a cool little thing that measures how many steps you take, it totaled up to 6.52 miles we walked throughout the course of the day I was impresses working in the warehouse could really pay off in the end.
So that was my day, now I am off to run then a nice hot relaxing bath to try and sooth my back and shoulder muscles that are hating me after last night’s work out.
Hope everyone has a great evening and rest of the week and I thank you for stopping by and reading my blog.

Well it has officially started January 28th 2008 is the first day of training to prepare for Open Casting for Americian Gladiators season 3 (Seeing how I did so poorly this last saturday i doubt I will get picked to be on the show, but at least now I know what to do.) Wow i just realized it is my birthday today so this is going to be one big kick off.
I skipped breakfest, woke up tolate and had to ruch to work, first snack I skipped aswell having brought no food with me, so the first time I eat today was about 12:25 pm at lunch where I ate macaroonie and cheese mashed patatos and gravey, fallowed by a dumpling and washed it all dow with an ice tea.
well I am off to the gym I will add my work out when I get home.

Well I tried out for American Gladiators yesterday, and wow it handed me my butt big time.
They had us do 4 exercises none of which are extremely difficult by them but back to back to back killed me.
We started out with as many pull ups as we can do in 30 seconds.
Then we went right into burp ups (Standing up, then drop down to push up position, do a push up then jump back up to your feet, that is 1) we had to do as many as we could in 30 seconds
As soon as the 30 seconds were over they yelled go and we had to run karaoke’s through a rope ladder taped to the ground up and back once. (That is when you run sideways and cross over, then behind the other leg.)
From there we did 10 up and back shuttle runs (Start at a small cone race down touch a cone on the far side of the room and run back and touch the first cone you started at that’s 1)
I did well on everything but one the pull ups. Sadly I could only get my flabby chin over the bar twice in thirty seconds….
Oh well at least I know how to train and prepare for try out for season 3.
Wish me luck.

Ever since I was a kid and started watching American Gladiators I have always wanted to be on the show. Unfortunately the show ended before I was old enough to try out, but now it is back and I am in the best shape of my life, and thought I have a long way to go I have at least 22 weeks before this season ends, so I am kicking it into high gear to eat healthy (This is my biggest struggle at this point) give 110% lifting and running and spending a lot of time with the treadmill cranked at the highest level and at a high speed to prepare for the treadmill at the end of the eliminator.
I am really going to needs everyone help and support, to keep everyone in the loop I am going to be posting a blog everyday on what I have done, what I lifted, running, cycling, and so on, and also what I have been eating, I hope you will join me on this journey and WHEN I make it onto American Gladiators I know with my team behind me giving me all their support I will do the best I can and surprise those gladiators.
So keep checking back and send me comments messages whatever support.
I thank you for taking the time to read my blog and check out my profile,
And most of all I thank you for your time
Ronnie
