Ending week 2! This week was somewhat ragged in the workout schedule, since I had a weird work schedule that was pretty much the opposite of my workout buddy’s (boyfriend
) work schedule. Whenever I had to work (morning/night), he didn’t and when he had to work, I did, so that left few options for us in the end. I have the same schedule at work this week, so now we know how to plan for it. I wasn’t feeling too well today, but since we werent doing any major exercises like squats, deadlifts, or general leg exercises, I sucked it up and went. As it was, on my 5th HIIT interval, I started feeling like I was going to black out, so I called it quits there (this was after weight training). We all tried to bench press after doing incline, decline, and flat flys and shoulder presses, and lateral cable raises, and I could only do the bar for 5 reps! I actually needed the spot
It’s good to fail! Rawr!

So! First week in, and despite not being able to go down the stairs properly for most of the week, I feel great. My sleeping schedule is getting better already, and I feel like there is something new and different about me that I want everyone to notice and know, like a new haircut. Now that I know how it is properly done, and have a full gym to go to, it will be so much easier! Plus I have Tim (my bf) and Mike (our buddy) to keep me going to the gym when my work schedule permits. Tim is slightly worried I won’t be getting enough food in me to keep me from getting sick/hurting myself. I can understand the concern because every time we do the HIIT, I feel lightheaded, dizzy and slightly sick to my stomach. I feel great going to the gym though, because I see all the cardio-bunnies and laugh inside. If only they knew…. I’ll report back in a week or so!
