I have lost my way and am trying to get back on track. I have been working way too much lately, and my schedule is such that I sleep maybe 4 hours a night, with intermitten naps throughout the day. It has hurt my training as I feel fatigued and absolutely unmotivated to do anything, including lifting. This needs to stop, and my body fat % is going up and I just feel YUCK and sluggish. I need to hit the reset button, and change my work schedule .. it is pulling me down fast.

I have truly poor endurance when it comes to cardio, so all I did today was 60 secs jogging, followed by 90 secs walking and continued thus for 20 mins. Didn’t feel too bad, came home had some food and just took my Noexplode.

When I started the day I didn’t think I was feeling strong but that changed when I got to the gym - I loved that.

I’m going to get time off in march so I can go to the Arnold classic this year. I have never been but I am very very excited about it! I know coming home from that I will be even more pumped for the next step!

Took me a couple days to get my head back on straight.. rather than just pick up where I left off I have decided to just hit the reset button and redo P90x from day 1. So today.. chest and back.. 235 total pushups. Elbow felt a little wonky when I did diamond pushups unfortunately.. not bad, just had to be a little careful. Pull ups are getting a weeeeee bit easier. Have the motion going right and am definitely feeling stronger.

Am going to spend next couple of hours working on my nutrition and eating plan for the next 2 weeks. For some reason nutrition is the hardest thing for me to conquer. I presently struggle with nutrition and sticking with meal plans.. but.. it’s work in progess anyways.

Gotta find me a decent low-priced body fat calculator.

Thinking of picking up Muscletech Vapo and Halo as pre and post workout drink.. any thoughts people?

Did Yoga x today… normally I can’t wait for Yoga, but since my mind is all over the place and my head isn’t on straight today I found it very challenging and painfully long. The first time I did it I rolled right through it and couldn’t believe how awesome it was and how much stronger I have become since the last time I did yoga back in the Springs. Today was another story. Pah. I know everyday is different yoga mindset-wise, sometimes it is time to stretch, sometimes when we are feeling strong we push harder than before and break plateaus, sometimes it focuses more on breathing, sometimes meditation. Today, for me.. it was just about getting through my workout. I acknowledge I was not the strongest nor best I could be today.. but hell… I got through it.

Bounce bounce bounce.

So far No-explode is treating me well.. I have the orange flavored one and it’s yum!

Wonder if I should get some glutamine?

Tomorrow.. legs and back day.

Loving P90x so far! The pull-ups are definitely hardest for me but each time I (attempt) to do them it gets better. Am alternating between using bands as well as the chair for a little help. Left shoulder seems a little tweaked (from old injury) just gotta be aware of it and be careful. Loving the sweat factor from these routines.. it’s consistantly keeping the heart rate up, working all every part of the body, Tony is a great goofball of a motivator (all good things) and is challenging. Yoga X is hardcore as it’s one posture after the other but whooooohoooo it’s awesome. And the ab ripper X what an awesome burn.

Week one over. Feeling damn good and motivated.. bring on week two.

Bought the iron gym workout bar - easy to assemble, works as promised. Am using fitness tubes till I figure out a way to buy cheap dumbells.. these dumbells are expensive!

New goal = one decent pull up without looking like a tail-less monkey!!!!!

Can’t wait for day 2!

Now food food food!
