A new beginning!

Ok!! I am finally back! Life got very crazy, first I started back at work with a very fast paced company in a very intense position and working over 50 hours a week and then coming home and having barely enough time for my family. On top of this trying to rent out my townhouse with a bad market and so many crazy people.  No time to eat well, no time to workout, just trying to get through everything. This intense stress was topped off by a flu bug my BF gave me after coming home from business travel. My body was not ready for this and just collapsed, the flu totally threw me into a relapse.. I have been in and out and the doctors office, having IV treatments, meds everything, unfortunately was forced to get on the steriods to beat this infection, and up my chemo treatments which I have worked so hard all year to taper off.. and then once I did, I had to deal with the painful withdrawl.. life has been TOUGH!! This weekend is the first where I have not been completely exhausted worn out and suffering from fatigue and the pain of withdrawl. Steroids are crazy, yes there are the only drug on the market to help stop the relapse and help my conditon but man coming off them is cruel and intense. Things are changing at work and luckily my plate has lightened as I have stepped into a different role. This is GREAT!! I am going to look forward to working 8.5 hours a day and going HOME!! My townhouse finally rented and so all the pieces are coming back together.

I am ready to now face the damage and see whats happened. I weighed myself today and was 141 so I have gained about 3 lbs in the last 3 months. This is not as bad as I thought but I feel so flabby and weak. Starting today I am back on eating my high protein and working out. Yesterday I went to the gym and did 40 min of cardio and am sore today how sad is that.. sore from cardio? Guess I will have to start with baby steps, will start with super low weights and go from there. Well my body has been through alot. It could have been much worse. I worked so hard to get in the 130’s.  I can get there body willing! LOL. Anyway here I am starting over and trying to stay positive. Lets see what I can do by Jan 31st. My goal is to be in the 120s :)
