Thursday, August 27th, 2009Managed to complete 59 consecutive dips. My goal for the year is 60. I was SO CLOSE. I wonder if the goal for 2010 should be 70 consecutive dips.
Did 20 Pull ups the other day. Not too difficult. Not a personal best; I’ve done better. But still good. My goal for the year is 25.
Things are coming along. Slowly, but they’re coming. Nine months until the next Mr. SMU bodybuilding contest. One year and nine months until the one in which I’m thinking of competing. I’m not committing to it. If the time comes and I think I have a good chance of taking first place, then I’ll probably enter.
CLOSE to benching 250. Looks like I should have no trouble at all reaching that by the end of the year.
CLOSE to curling the 70 lb dumbbells. Haven’t tried it, but may be able to do it now.
CLOSE to 60 dips. By the end of the year, no prob.
NOT SO CLOSE to 25 pullups. Though, it should be doable by the end of the year.
End of 2010?
Benching 275?
Dipping 70 consecutive?
Curling . . . 75’s?
Pullups? I guess 30 would be the next step, though I’d be surprised if I could do that. That’d be nuts!
