True Mass gives me gas.
Ha! It rhymes AND it’s true. Ain’t that somethin’. It’s okay though. It tastes good, mixes good, and I make gains when I’m on it.
Speaking of gains. New personal best: barbell curl one rep max 131. (120 lbs 4 reps). I might have been able to get in a fifth, but I didn’t attempt. I’ll get that fifth rep within two weeks though.
I’ve started doing WEIGHTED dips. I was doing up to 40 reps with my bodyweight so I clearly needed to ADD some weight. I expect to see some size and strength gains now that I finally got a dipping belt. Doing 20 reps with a 45 lb weight plate hanging from me. Need to start doing weighted pull ups, but I hate those. I’ll start doing it though.
Well everybody, keep doing your 12 sets and calling THAT a workout. And then act surprised when it’s been two years and you have NO results to show for it. And then try to tell ME how to work out? I’ll keep doing my "unnecessary work" and making my gains. Consider reading Arnold’s book, The New Encyclopedia of Modern Body Building, or maybe pages 292-293 of the September issue of Iron Man Magazine. And then consider lifting for more that 20 minutes a day and calling that good enough. You don’t gain if you don’t challenge yourself. Increase the weight. Increase the reps. Stop wining and looking for the easy way out. "unnecessary work"???? pssshhhhh. Come on.
Yeah, I’m ranting. I don’t care. All for now.

Weighted dips? Cool - I’m sure you’ll start seeing bigger gains, though you’ve been doing pretty good so far! Keep up the great work and let me know how the weighted pull-ups go!
