not logging workouts anymore

Sunday, July 13th, 2008

exactly what the title says.  not logging workouts anymore.  I weighed the pros and cons and it’s not worth it.  Still recording workouts in my notebook.

I know what I am doing.  The end.

Logging workouts is a hassle.

Sunday, July 6th, 2008

I’m working out like always, but I’ve fallen behind logging the workouts.  My workouts are usually 40 sets or more so it takes forever to record them.  Lately, logging the workouts just hasn’t been a priority.  I logged a few tonight, and I’ll try to get caught up again within a couple days.  I don’t understand how so many of you just do 20 set or 18 set workouts.  What the hell is that?  THAT’S a workout???  WTF?!

My weight room was closed for three days so they could move the machines around and make the weight room "better".  Since the weight room was gonna be closed, I decided to get in one hell of a workout the night before they closed so I could heal during the three off days.  I worked out for about two and a half hours completing 68 sets.  I believe that’s the most sets I’ve ever done in one workout.

My estimated bicep curl one rep max is still around 130 lbs.  My bodyfat is still around 11-12 %.  I’ve gained several pounds(mostly muscle).  My arms are 15 inches now (growing).  Lats are noticeably thicker too.  I feel like I’m on the verge of increasing my bicep curl one rep max (along with other lifts). . . . I can feel it getting closer.  I’m trying to really hit my triceps and further develop that horseshoe shape.  It’s there now, but it could be better.  It’s hard to get my abs as tight as I’d like because the skin’s just a little saggy.  (I was pudgy/fat before)  I’m patient and I’ll give it years before I get upset or anything.  I can wait.  As long as I’m making progress, it’s all gooooood.

All for now.
