Sorry!

I feel really sorry for the other guys in the weight room tonight.  I was SO gassy.  Hahahahaha.  I’m just kidding.  I’m not sorry at all.

Okay seriously, went to the mr. and ms. SMU competition tonight after my money and banking class.  Most of the girls just looked average, NOT like they hit the weights AT ALL or even do much cardio.  There was one tiny girl that was really lean with great definition and some decent muscle and she ended up winning (it was obvious she lifts).  It wasn’t much of a contest; she blew the others away.  The guys were tougher to judge . . anyway, I went because I was curious to see how I’d compare to the guys on stage.  AND?  Well, I’d say they’re on a higher level than me overall.  I gotta say I was BETTER than some of them in some areas, but I have my weak spots.  Lower back pudge, abs  . . . and I suppose legs.  On average, these guys have been lifting for 5 years to get where they are. . . and I’ve only been at it for about 10 months.   So, how do I feel?  Okay I guess.  My back was as good as some of them, and my arms were better than a lot of them (higher peak and better definition)  Triceps?  Still working on my horseshoe, but it’s coming in.  Lats are okay, getting wider.  Serratus Anterior look pretty good.  Some of these guys had incredibly chiseled abs; it was impressive.  Ah! and my *ss is no good.  =(  lol.  Oh wells.   Just gotta keep at it, and do it right.

That’s all you get! Go away!  Hope you’re all doing well.

I’ve only attended a couple constest myself, when I had a friend competing, and they are interesting to watch. The higher level "fitness" competitions are very interesting for the first 50 or 60 contestants, then believe it or not you start to get tired of looking at girls in heels and bikinis (I know, I was amazed myself). Too much of a good thing I suppose.

I’m glad to hear that you found in general that you compare favorably to the competitors and especially for a relatively short period of training. Just think where you will be in 4 years and 2 months yourself! Keep up the great work.
