Updates

Tuesday, April 22nd, 2008

Got on the body composition monitor tonight.  143 lbs.  11% bodyfat.  I’ve gained several pounds of muscle since my last reading and I haven’t weighed this much in over a year.  I would like to get to 150 lbs and 10% bodyfat, but I’ll have to wait and see what happens.  I’ve been taking GABA and True Mass in the last few weeks.  This may have contributed to the muscle gain.  I haven’t had this much lean body mass in well over a year.  I’m FINALLY packing on LEAN mass and gaining back muscle that I lost on my initial diet (when I lost about 50 lbs of MOSTLY fat).  I don’t know if this trend will continue, but I hope it does.  I’ll keep eating pretty clean, try to get enough calories (but not TOO much), take the GABA, get enough sleep, and hit the weights HARD.  I DID go for a two mile run the other night after a workout.  I may incorporate more running into my life, but I haven’t decided yet.  All for now.  Peas out.

Sorry!

I feel really sorry for the other guys in the weight room tonight.  I was SO gassy.  Hahahahaha.  I’m just kidding.  I’m not sorry at all.

Okay seriously, went to the mr. and ms. SMU competition tonight after my money and banking class.  Most of the girls just looked average, NOT like they hit the weights AT ALL or even do much cardio.  There was one tiny girl that was really lean with great definition and some decent muscle and she ended up winning (it was obvious she lifts).  It wasn’t much of a contest; she blew the others away.  The guys were tougher to judge . . anyway, I went because I was curious to see how I’d compare to the guys on stage.  AND?  Well, I’d say they’re on a higher level than me overall.  I gotta say I was BETTER than some of them in some areas, but I have my weak spots.  Lower back pudge, abs  . . . and I suppose legs.  On average, these guys have been lifting for 5 years to get where they are. . . and I’ve only been at it for about 10 months.   So, how do I feel?  Okay I guess.  My back was as good as some of them, and my arms were better than a lot of them (higher peak and better definition)  Triceps?  Still working on my horseshoe, but it’s coming in.  Lats are okay, getting wider.  Serratus Anterior look pretty good.  Some of these guys had incredibly chiseled abs; it was impressive.  Ah! and my *ss is no good.  =(  lol.  Oh wells.   Just gotta keep at it, and do it right.

That’s all you get! Go away!  Hope you’re all doing well.
