A lot of Negative stuff. . .

I hope everybody’s doing well.

I guess it’s just one of those times when a lot of things aren’t going so well.  I won’t get into all the details of my personal life, but let’s just say . . . things are a little rough.  I’ll work through it.  It’s okay.
ANYWAY, here’s a review!  Read it!
CytoSport, the maker of Muscle Milk, Cyto Gainer, and Fast Twitch, has a relatively new product out called CytoSport PROtein.  It’s a "fruit flavored" whey protein drink.  Think, gatorade, but WITH protein and WITHOUT the carbs.  I’ve had this at least 10 times now, long enough to notice patterns.  It would seem that everytime I drink the stuff it upsets my stomach.  It makes me feel nauseous.  On at least two occasions, including tonight, I have burped up in my mouth during my workout.  The Watermelon flavor is much too sweet.  It’s unpleasant to drink.  All three flavors I’ve tried are too sweet, but the Watermelon is easily the worst, extremely syrupy, leaving a nasty film in my mouth when I drink it.  The Tropical flavor, green in color, actually tastes alright, but still upsets my stomach.  I think all CytoSport would need to do to remedy this is cut down on the artificial sweetener.  Then it wouldn’t be so syrupy, and, I suspect, it wouldn’t hurt my stomach anymore.  In addition, CytoSport may actually cut the cost of production a little by using less sweetener per unit, potentially increasing their profit margin.  Hear that CytoSport?  Improve your product AND increase profits.  Think about it.
Pros:  It’s 40 grams of whey protein isolate, 160 calories.  Good during or post workout.

Cons:  Nasty.  Hurts Stomach.  Way Too Sweet.

Verdict:  I don’t care how much protein it has and how low in calories it is.  If it tastes nasty, HURTS my stomach, makes me burp up, and hampers my workout, then I’m not drinking it.  That’s right people.  I’m not drinking the stuff ever again, unless I hear that CytoSport has made some changes.

All for now.
