11 weeks out!!

Hey everyone,

 

I’m 11 weeks out from the Southwest Michigan and feeling great. I am 195lbs and hoping to weight on stage at about 185lbs. I am doing a few things different this year with the diet to try to maintain a little more size. I am keeping fats around 50 grams/day. I also put a progress pic up and you can see slight change, not much yet though.

 

I am also still in the running for 2009 Best body on Bodyspace. If you havn’t voted already I sure could use your help. I am in 4th and 10 votes form 3rd. Here’s the link.

Nutrition, Nutrition, Nutrition!!

I have changed some things around in my diet to provide some growth and it is working. I have known for a long time you have to eat to grow. I always have a problem eating because I hate putting on fat. I have started eating more with the hopes of adding muscle without much fat. To my surprise it is working….who would have thought!! Thought of the day: You need to eat to grow, you might even sacrifice some leanliness to do that. The only way to grow isa through hard work and nutrition!! It is something I have known for a long time and even have problems convincing myself to do.

I am entered in World Physique’s April contest for best physique. It is nothing like American Idol….at least I know I can’t sing. How champions are Made!!

That’s what I was striving for today in an intense shoulder workout. Sometimes you just have days where everything feels right and today was one of those days. Thought of the day: It is easy to get to the gym, eat right, and stay motivated when everything is going right and feels right. Hey everyone,

 

It’s been a week of busy work. I have still been hitting the gym hard and trying to gain some quality size. Some exciting news is that I have been entered in the World Physique Contest. I feel priviledged to be along some of the best physiques online. I would appreciate all the help I can get with extra votes to help me win. Thought of the day…If your not on an amino acids you would not believe the difference it can make with the process of recovery and muscle growth. I use Extend and think it’s a good choice. It’s going to be a great week!

Hi everyone. It was a great chest day today. I hit the weight hard and pushed myself to the max. It is going to be a busy week with work, but it’s no excuse not to get to the gym so I will have to find a way. Thought of the day: If everything you are doing is not taking you to your goal then change things. If you continue to do what is not working the outcome will be the same. We all get stuck in a rut now and again and we just need to change things up. Have a great evening.

I love Red Robin!!

Hi Everyone,

I just got home from Red Robin. It had been a month since last time there and it was awesome. I get the 5 alarm burger and eat a ton of fries. I always try to have a cheat meal on friday night, except during contest diet of course. I hit arms at the gym today and had an awesome pump. Thought of the day: It’s good to cheat on most diets occasionally. It’s a great way to shock the body and keep a positive mood on dieting and all the hard work we do. Have a great friday night.
