I’m back!!

It’s been awhile, but I am finally back.  I just decided that I am going to compete for the first time at the ABBA competition in Edmonton, Alberta on June 19, 2010.  That gives me lots of time to get ready and get everything figured out.  The rest of Octobe is going to be very busy for me and I will be getting back into the swing of things as of November 1st.

I am heading to Vegas October 25th and I can’t wait!!  It is my first time going and I am going to be one of the caddy’s at the Playboy Golf Tournament.  I found out that the first night there is going to be a toga party, so I just ordered my outfit and I can’t wait to get it.

Many things have recently changed for me.  I was in Oil and Gas for 4 years, but I finally made the big leap of getting out of it.  I realized that I am not meant to work a 9 to 5, monday to friday job sitting at a desk all day.  I have way too much energy for that and it was sapping all of my energy and turning me into a negative person.  I am not a negative person at all, so I knew I had to leave.  I left about a month ago and I just started working at a bar a couple of weeks ago.  The money is decent, but it is just something to pay my bills for now.  I am working on getting my own business started and I can’t wait to get it out there!  Right now I am at getting the business cards and advertising all done up.  

Priorities

My priorities in my life changed a little since my last post, but I am back to my senses.  Certain experiences and people have got me on the right track again and gave me the push to kick my own ass and go hard in the gym.  I will be posting my pictures again and also taking progress pictures along the way.  I will do this for myself and no one can get in my way!! I know that I can do anything I put my mind to and have proven that before.

My diet

I just wanted to post what my typical diet looks like and see what you guys think.

Meal 1: Smoothie with 1/2 cup low fat yogurt, 1/2 cup skim milk, 1 cup frozen blueberries, 1/2 scoop protein powder(20g)

Meal 2: 4 hard boiled egg whites, 1 orange

Meal 3: 1/2 chicken grilled chicken breast, 1/2 cup baked yam, 1 apple

Meal 4: 1/2 ezekial english muffin, 1/2 cup 1% cottage cheese, 1 kiwi

Meal 5: raw spinach salad with 4oz bison steak or salmon or scallops or tuna, raw veggies
