These photos are the reason I know what is possible in a short amount of time…
Today is day one of my Blog. I am looking forward to many posts.
Oh, yes I am about to be 44. WHAT? Me 44? I cannot believe this since I used to think 44 was old. Unlike many family members before me, I refuse to get old. Believe me, since I was in my mid twenties and realized my metabolism wasn’t always going to be there for me, I decided to educate myself on nutrition. I really had no clue what to do to really motivate my metabolism. It took years for me to realize that there are so many confusing methods on the market for weight loss. I was tired of trying this and that and spending money on gimmicks and finally, I said "ENOUGH"! In 2004 I hired a PT and she was the missing link. Her knowledge of the right nutrition and training program really pushed my sleepy metabolism into full motion. (Thanks Lisa Ryan!) At that moment I just wanted to look good in my clothes… Once I achieved that (in about 8 weeks) I said, hey now I want to look good in nothing! : ) At this point my metabolism was going at full speed, I could eat all day long (clean, of course) and burn it as quickly as I consumed it… Eventually, my exercise routine took a back seat to work and my time at the gym became less and less. What? was I losing my focus? Naaaa, I was still wearing the -0 sizes that were at one time too big. My scales were saying the same. Well, I started to think my metabolism could carry me through no matter what. WRONG! I started to notice the size 0 started to feel snug and my legs were beginning to jiggle and there I was, back to "hey, I just want to look good in my clothes" mode again. lol I rededicated my life to what I know to do and will continue to strive for my short and long term goals… Hey, I will soon be 44. My goal is to look and feel 24. I know it is possible. Too many women on here in their late 30s and early 40s to prove it possible!
