Awesome to hear you found what works for you. I too was over traing, but I've also found that working out four days and resting one works well for me.

Good Luck

I've started getting up at 4.30 to workout. It's really early, but it's also the only time I have to myself to workout. It takes me a few minutes to get into though and I really hate doing cardio that early, but oh well... It must be done :)

Larry Scott says diet is 80% of success in bodybuilding.

Its at least equal to training IMO. If you train hard and dont eat right you gain nothing. If you diet but dont train...well that isnt great either but you will lose fat and look somewhat better and be somewhat healthier.

Joe Weider put diet at 60% of a bodybuilders success.

Vince Gironda has said it is 75% or more.
So you can see it is very important. I sadly have been not at the gym that much in the past 2 weeks but have been eating super clean and am still losing fat without any muscle loss.
Back at the gym today and have not lost any strength. Diet again...best of luck!

one thing that is critical - for me at least - is to track actual calories per day and plan a target based on activity. After a while on a particular food plan and workout schedule - I can wing it. In the beginning - it was very easy to consume hundreds of extra caloies a little bit at a time and slow down my progress. Still happens.
