Operation:- “Tight Hot Bod”

At the risk of ingnoring all of my friends who seem to think I’m ‘dysmorphic" ……….He!he!  Operation "Tight Hot Bod" begins!  You guys were all right.  Just because I’ve come such a long way (which is great and I totally appreciate) doesn’t mean I don’t have to finish the job!.  Some of these friends are taller and leaner than me, so wtf are they on about? ………So, I’ve printed out my ‘inspiration’, a pic of Kris Frahn for the fridge.  Next to plan my meals.  I’m thinking of Carb Cycling.  And the workouts, which I’ve got to plan around my new job.  I’ve got to sit down and give that some thought.  I may need to do some stuff at home.  Expect some HIIT though - I’ll get my A$$ outa bed early each am.  HIIT 3 times per week with 2 x Steady State Moderate H/R and 1 easy, 1 Rest for Cardio.  I would like to hit the muscle groups twice per week so considering my schedule, I’m thinking upper/lower body two day splits……….Shall keep ‘ya posted :)

So why are my friends telling me I’ve done enough?

……I mean seriously, yes, okay I’ve achieved ALOT in less than twelve months, dropped between 4 & 5 dress sizes.  I admit that.  But, I still feel the job is not quite done yet. I  Come on guys, look at me……. I’m nowhere near having that six pack just yet. To my credit, instead of a belly and three chins, I now proudly sport a reasonably flat stomach and 1 chin……….but I just want to be tight damnit!  Not skinny - tight…….So, despite my well meaning friends who are so sweet and fantastic about congratulating my achievements……I want more.  I have till 01st May 2009 which is the 1st Anniversary of the start of my journey.  So, I’m going to use this time to ‘tweak’ and tighten my body.  No more setbacks!

………….Okay, let’s get over last nights little self-medication with the shiraz and get back on track.  I’d done really well all week with my diet (it’s not hard now).  I’d planned and frozen all of my meals, had my ‘back-ups’ (protien bar) on hand just in case.  Drank heaps of water *check*  I’d done my HIIT, and I’ll do it again this morning, so no I am not hungover……..  I did ‘Body Combat’ class yesterday morning - which is a little out of my comfort zone ‘cos I don’t ever do classes unless it’s spin.  I’m a weights girl through and through……but the class was a bit of a giggle ‘cos I’m just so uncordinated :)   So, I had fun with my friend who dragged me into it.  It’s nice to have a laugh…………….I’ve got to get into nailing down my calories again, so I’ll get into my calorie calculator and review my meals…………My weight training is going really well - I’m sore in all the right places lately :)   Though I’d like to put together a few different workouts.  I’ll look into that too………..

…………I’ll be back in the morning.’*hic* ………..I’ve had a couple of glasses of red wine tonight.  Bloody husband has a girlfriend.  Not bad for me.  Actually, I realised I have no feelings left for him (other than disdain and disgust) so it was good to see him with another woman…….poor chic! she doesn’t know what she’s in for ………..No, what’s buggared me is that our dear boy had this sprung on him tonight and he feels like sh!t.  His dad didn’t prepare him for it.  He hasn’t seen his son for 3 weeks an he decides to bring a date to dinner with his son.  What kind of dad does that?……My boy says he says he doesn’t have a father……….the poor kid is shattered.  He’s eleven years old and this just sux!  So I’m dealing with that right now…………I’ve got to make this right for him the best way I can.  So wish me luck.

 Bear with me.  Things will get more positive in my corner.  I guess I’ll just have moments like this every now and then.
