Roid Rage
If I had hemorrhoids, I’d be raging too. I’ve never had them, but I heard they hurt BAD.
In other news, I made my 190 lb squat goal. But I never used to count the bar weight, and asked Janthony if I should, so I actually did 200 lbs for 3 sets of 6 negative reps since the bar weighs about 10 pounds.
I got stuck on the last rep of the last set when I was at the bottom, but I pushed my way up and made it. That was a worrisome moment.

i am still not getting the roid connection but nice work. in other news, that Smith machine bar gives more resistance once you decrease the friction by pushing on it, so it’s only about 10-15 lbs sitting still but once you push up it gets closer to the actual weight of the Olymic bar. I would put your squat at 215-220. Killer dude.

There’s no connection whatsoever. The roid thing was a random thought.

You squatted 200?! That’s awesome!
March 26, 2009 at 11:41 am
ROTFLMAO… You have given new meaning to the term "roid rage"!!!! That was way too funny!!
And that is TOTALLY AWESOME on your squats!!! YOU GO GIRL!!!! I have to admit, one of the reasons I love squatting with the Smith Machine is because I know if I can’t get back up the weights won’t fall on me!! I don’t know that I could get past the mental block to squat as much using a regular barbell. You friggen ROCK… SUPER WOMAN! I’m going to have to send you a cape so that you can make your own Super Woman avi to post!
March 26, 2009 at 11:44 am
PS: If you happened to use the Smith Machine on those squats you still TOTALLY ROCK!!! And I had several people e-mail me and tell me the Smith Machine bar is 25# and Barbell for squats is 45#. I don’t think you are adding enough to the weight of the bar… wouldn’t it be 25 or 45 pounds more and not 10 pounds? Or did someone tell me the wrong weight?

Rock on Shan. That would have NOT been so fun if ya didn’t make that last rep…

Honey, believe me when I tell you hemmoroids are no biggie.I get them so bad my hemmoroids have hemmoroids.
Think of them as a fashion accessory for, like, your ass. You got to use what you got, and girl I got a lot!
Later, as in much.
